Into the bench shirt after 4 months of basic training. Still just an addition to one of the sessions, in a heavy shirtless period. Feels decent, some things still to tweak.

A summary of my way back to pull 200 kg in deadlift. Could probably been faster in time if wanted, but with the new hip I didn't want to stress it.

Strange day. Felt strong, even though I tweaked the left pec on the monday prior to the competition. Lift 1: 2-1 red, butt off bench, 1-2 cm. Lift 2: 2-1 red, butt off bench, 1-2 cm. Lift 3: 3-o red. Butt on bench, but lost the groove and couldn't muscle it back. Minus: No good lifts. :( Plus: Felt stronger than ever. Lifts looked smoother than usual. Got the Katana low cut to work great. Keep in mind, all of these guys are using copious amounts of anabolics. The workloads are too intense and exhausting for drug-free lifters or even people who use mild amounts of gear

I really love this vid. TH-cam is made for this form of info.My buddy used to be bullied. He explained he was intending to grow muscles. I chuckled at him. I didn't think he would.... Til he added 40lbs of 100 % pure muscle. He used the Muscle Building Bible - look for it in Google. He does not get bullied anymore. :-) I actually signed up last week. Not to mention the mans emails are great!!!

Is a stance that wide recommended for an average Joe, or is that more of an advanced thing?
This is an old ass comment but in case anyone is still wondering you should probably not take a stance this wide unless you are a multi-ply lifter

If your an equipped lifter a wide stance like that is necessary and should always squat wide. If your raw then go as wide as you can go before your hips start to feel a lot of tension

@jagmany Absolutely not dude, these squats are actually the best exercise for hip extension, they recruit alot less of your quad than regular squats and so do not place stress on your knee.
@fighting185 The point of it is to unload your muscle spindles of kinetic energy so your muscle force is doing all the work, it is brutal, so yeah, I would so put a lot of weight on the box, too little of weight on the box, and you are missing the point.

Mike K nope. Tightness when you go done and stay tight when you explode up. It's for explosive power so you have to stay tight all round.

No, stay tight all the way through
Almost a decade of comments and not a correct answer amongst them. You relax your hip flexors on the box. Everything else stays tight
@@davidmb3376 how are you supposed to remain tight if you relax your hip flexors? i notice that when i relax my hips my brace everywhere else goes. Or maybe my body coordination is retarded idk

That just looks like a seated upright row with poor form, but then again powerlifters train for strength. Bodybuilder train with good form for mass and well developed muscles.
