The bare minimum requirement for a working engine ids that it continues to run when the starter motor is disconnected. One major flaw of the design is the side combustion chamber. In the classic 4 stroke sequence, the intake gas is compressed and then ignited in its compressed state. In your design, the compressed intake fuel mixture is decompressed as it expands into the combustion chamber cancelling out the previous compression stage and considerably reduces the potential performance of the engine.
I recommend the presenter rehearse before making a video.

You might get these type of rotary mechanisms from used rotary Freon compressors from air conditioners. They have the close tolerances. And, many burn out because of motor failure and contain a good working compressor mechanical assembly. But they cannot withstand combustion pressures. Thus my comment to use a century device made earlier to increase volume, lower pressure and allow use of the rotary compressors headed to junkyards. Especially in early testing. Might provide an entry business making powers bikes if that is your intent. BUT BEWARE...YOU CAN BE KILLED EASILY BY COMBUSTION. START WITH A VERY SMALL COMBUSTION CAIMBER! YOU MUST PLACE ANY VENTIRI DEVICE IN HEAVY STEEL PIPE TO AVOID DEATH!!! ESPECIALLY FROM AN OLD AIR BAG! ALSO, UNFIRED AIR BAGS ARE ABSOLUTELY DEADLY AND SHOULD NOT BE APPROACHED. TRY ASKING AN AUTO BODY SHOP FOR BURNT ONES. THAT WAY, HOPEFULLY YOU WILL GET PARTS WITH VERY LITTLE CORROSION. NEVER EVER USE A CORRODED AIR BAG COMPONENT!!! Learn BUT BE SAFE!
A venture device.
When developed, it might be an an excellent way to bring backup power to recharge batteries via alternator for the masses. Run on natural gas maybe need propane to start. You maybe could use a venturi like in car air bags to add volume and lower temperature of of the mixture of gasses and critical parts. A venture would probably steal 25% of the power...but what is your design goal? Always tell us your end use or goal if you want better feedback. Give us in helping you. Maybe you need help to improve your machining accuracy, etc.

That is why electric motors are superor: they don't need energy differeces like t emperature, or height like in water turbines. They use magnetism. And e-motors don't wear out, are somple and easy to build. I drive an EV and it feels great no hifting gears because optimal torque is always available, at any speed. Once you ecperience that you eill never want a combustion engine again

You can forget the mechanical seal. It will have a be a gaseous seal.

Based on what I know after assembling engines for several years more than likely you got two lower compression ratio and you're not being able to take and contain the expanding gases that's probably blow by and not turning your rotor keep at it

Lubrication will be your biggest problem by far.
I believe that you need more vanes or sweepers, 3 maybe 4 of them. I believe that your that your combustion chamber needs to be in the round cylinder its self not in a separate compartment. Also a heavy flywheel would really make a difference, as the inertia that in would store can help the motor complete a rotation along with making it run smoother. Keep up the work

Идея хорошая, но узльі ненадежньі. Єти штоки на пружинках будут либо клинить при нагрузках, либо просто ломаться. Двигатель же крутится не в холостую, а под большой нагрузкой. Надо увеличивать надежность составляющих деталей
During the compression phase gas travels through the combustion chamber straight through into the expansion chamber you need to have a valve there and it will work much better (not great but better)

put a reed valve in the intake port so the emgine can only suck in gas an ear mix and not blow the gases back into the carb the it will work and star and if it runs porly put a reed valve in the exhaust as well so the exhaust can only blow out the gasses and not suck in air

The internal combustion engine as we know it today is the answer to the steam engine. There has been minimal improvement in 100 years. The efficiency is at most 35% of the 100% fuel you put in, the rest is converted into heat. We need to be more economical with our energy. Any attempt to improve the internal combustion engine is carrying water to the sea! Let it go and put your intelligence into something meaningful.
It seems strange that a big company has not hired you and used a bit of r&d to make this a working engine.
Thats the knocking engine I think.
