Circa early 90's - CBS (I think) sent a crew to Orcas Island to seek information about the reported energy vortex in front of The Outlook Inn.
Orcas Island / Outlook Inn Pilots Strike Resolution
มุมมอง 56215 ปีที่แล้ว
The Allied Pilots Association needed a private and exclusive destination to resolve their dispute in 1996. The Outlook Inn was chosen by the Clinton White House as the spot for a week of think tanks and negotiations. Eventually, the spot was leaked and the press showed up with helicopters and attitudes.
I found the whole island magical! I was sent there by my Shaman friend to complete my healing. I lived here five years. I met several people like me, sent here for spiritual reasons from different religious traditions. The island people that live here year round don't like outside people that much. Surprise, surprise! I did my healing here with my mentor and a traditional Shaman. Everyone told me that the island has a place for you if you are meant to be here. And if you're not, she kicks you off! It was my time to leave. I never felt so much peace than I felt here. You are so close to the love of our great Mother here. You really step into another world. 🙏💜
i met luis summer of 1974 profound experience !
I grew up on orcas, the energy vortex is not on Indian island (the island in front of the outlook inn) it’s on turtle back then there’s another one in deer harbor.
Where’s the one in deer harbor? I just moved here a couple months ago and definitely felt the vortex on turtle back
Ross Shafer has the confidence of a morning show host that doesn't realize that he is just terrible.
Wow wonderful spiritual place
Been there. In 2005. Magical sorry to see the mass rush to make it a Hugh exclusive for rich. Ruin it.
Just came back from a visit to orcas island and stayed at the outlook inn. The people there are kinda weird but friendly. We stayed in the older hotel rooms. Rooms 12 and 13. I woke up at 1:30am to a young girl humming a song. At first I thought it was my sister snoring but I took my ear plug out and listened again and yup definitely a young girl humming. I was so. freaked out that I prayed until I fell back to sleep. When I woke up I looked up hauntings and sure enough outlook hotel is listed as haunted. Scary!!
Bullshit hahaha, way for that owner to advertise and get more tourist traffic.
The island,AKA by locals as "Jap Island" Is one of the few nesting places of the Oyster Catcher, a rare Bird. Until recently, The Island had thousands of dollars of fireworks , launched from steel tubes which were stored year round by the man who was Paid to launch the show. The oyster catchers were not enhanced by the drinking, camping, bonfire, and fireworks.. as a matter of fact the Oyster catcher chicks were dead as it was the most critical of times for them to hatch. Now the County uses a barge to spread the fireworks trash offshore, to prevent more fires as they have had many due to the fireworks. The Island is also rich in native history. The digging for launch tubes was always in the Midden, or shell, layers..Placed there by centuries of native people..even more destruction just like the birds. SanJuan county has turned a blind eye to these things until they were recorded and called on it.
Sounds like a bunch of sillyness to keep the INN busy and profitable with a fun story. I would love it if the vortex were real actually.
Yeah I think he’s lying about it being on Indian island bc it’s in front of his hotel. It’s real but it’s on turtle back, there’s a metal plaque where it’s at.
it is real
Interestingly, I've been jumping through hoops with the department of historic preservation (archaeologists) as I'm trying to build a building on land that is on the beach right next to that Island. Through the discovery process we have found that Native Americans lived on that land for 4,000 years (that we know about so far) in a year-round village with hundreds of residents. It's amazing to ponder what it would take to stay there through the winter with no windows - the storms are serious!
@adamstarr Right on!
@jerrpike Both Starr and Lewis did have a strange, uncanny ability to read deeper into individuals than most people are aware of. Hippies in the 80's? Now that is hard to beleive.LOL
I dont know about a vortex. I fished for rock cod in that area, and often walked out to the little island (We'll call it Indian Island, hope that does not offend anyone) and enjoyed the peaceful feeling that came from the ambience of the area. As an employee of the Outlook in the early 90's, I saw strange craft quite often in the evening skies. I did not talk about these too often, except a time when 5 of us saw the same craft, in which, then, noone could say that I was "trippin".
I live on the north beach of Orcas. I'll show you strange things in the sky on a weekly basis
@@bennyboyellis I wanna see! Will be interesting to meet you in orcas Island. I'm actually in Seattle and gonna plan a trip to visit spiritual places as mt shasta, port Townsend and orcas
Yeah there’s tons of alien sightings up there. Pretty sure everyone on the island has had at least one experience while living there.
@humanzeez4realz You are totally correct - there is a major gas leak up here causing delusions. There are trees all over the place and they are leaking oxygen all around us. The effects include kindness, chillaxin', overgrown organic vegetables, sense of community, and willingness to consider possibilities that are oftentimes incomprehensible to those living in densely populated urban areas that are overrun with strip malls and fast food restaurants. Stay away... stay far away from this place.
@jerrpike Did they give him any money?
I remember this guy, Starr, who owned the Outlook Inn. My hippy parents in the early 80s believed in this vortex and became followers of his. Very weird.
You obviously don't know jack about bakugan - if you did you would notice that it's Crackfue in the video - the most rare bakugn ever and it's worth over 599.99 on ebay. Plus you didn't even knowtice that it's Jennifer Anniston in the video. You probably didn't even know that Jennifer Anniston is the bakugan champion in her native country of Balzaria... bet you didn't even know that did you!!! Punk! You r the NOOB!
wow it sucks noob
