You know what? Max seems to be okay with it or at least has accepted that aspect of his life. He's even seems grateful too because he is easily one of the greatest drivers in motorsports history, because of his upbringing. To us, this seems horrible, but we're getting out of context stories and it didn't happen to us. And let's be real, we're here making youtube comments about Max's life about how it would be so much better for him if he lived like us but what have we done with our lives? What have we accomplished? Compared to Max, basically nothing. Is that the be and end all? That's for each individual to decide, but Max also has a family, he's rich, he's got what most of us would consider to be essential elements of a great life. So I'd say he's done pretty damn well for himself as a result of the path his life took. But the be all and end all here is that Max seems to be content with it all, and frankly it's nobody's business but his. I'm not going to feel sorry for a world champion. If he's fine with it, I'm fine with it. I dunno, I guess I'm just a big believer in minding my own business.

I think this is fairly normal in asian households. My mom pretty much said the same things to me.

A point people miss is that Max could've decided to stop pursueing racing and Jos would have been okay with that. They've both said so. However, Max made the choice and committed to go down the hard path during all those years and do what's needed to become the undisputed best.

Jos should be thankful for still having his head attached to his neck, and especially to Horner, as it was Christian who literally took the chaos of trauma that was Max and set him on the path to being the best driver of the decade. Max has innate talent, it's not something that can be built.

Everyone stop crying. At the end of the day Max Verstappen is about to become a 4 time world champion, and has had one of the most successful F1 careers in history. He's a multi millionaire and has a LOT to be proud of. So what if Jos was harsh on him or wasn't always the best parent, Max has a really good life because of it. He's achieved more than most of us ever will.

Max is probably one of the nicest guy on the grid. Yes he wants to win everything and he never gives up and sometimes it might be too extreme, but I genuinely genuinely think that he doesn't deserve the hate he gets. I feel like his mentality and Mindset is completely different from the rest of the drivers which is probably why ppl don't like him. But for me Max is a little pookie woth the sweetest soul 🥹🎀
