Sir, What is difference between Moment Distribution method and Substitute Frame method? Do we ignore column stiffness in simple M.D. method which results uneconomical beam design compare to column stiffness method? In substitute frame method we consider column stiffness which produces economical beam design. Please correct me if i wrong.
