Been trying to run battletech for an rpg campaign. I think having this level of detail for the player mechs is great, but i think that using this level of detail for enemies is too much. It slows the game down a lot imo. - Are there simplified rules i can use that are balanced against these complex rules? - Like, if i had a lance of medium and light mechs controlled by players vs a similar lance controlled by a Gm, are there rules that would allow the GM to have faster turns for the enemy mechs? I would still want damage to be applied to player mechs in full granularity of rolled hit locations and determining structure damage and crits and such. But i wouldnt want to do all that for the enemy mechs, preferring something simplified, but hopefully that simplification doesnt make the enemy mechs weaker or stronger, just faster to run so that the players arent spending half the combat just watching the gm resolve turns

Two absolute TITANS squaring off in an epic affiliated Showdown?! Count me in! Surprise Webhead, this is going to be a dope battlereport. Also really enjoyed the comic book recommendation and tie in segment! Really pulled me in. Was just like watching this epic showdown in the comics!

Fun thematic game! A few notes for future reference: Custom Upgrades has to be played during the power phase. It didn't really impact the game but just so you know. Sadistic Glee impacts the next attack action not the next attack so if you do it before the spender you get the bonus dice for all attacks made not just the first one.
