Electrical Problem Fixed! BMW S1000RR

So long story short after I replaced my Stator, Rectifier and Battery. I haven't had anymore issues yet with bike, if something does pop up I will keep you guys updated.

Scared to Wheelie my BMW S1000RR

Just messing around with the idea of learning to wheelie. Didn't have much time on my hands but got a spin around the block and well gave my hand at trying to clutch up but no luck. Next time will be better hopefully.
No More Flickering Lights! Meeting up with another BMW owner

After Recharging battery the bike seems to be normal now. No more random flickering or stuck gauges. Had to go for a night ride to make sure it was all good, and got to meet up with a fellow BMW owner.

First ever recorded group ride. Didn't want to bore you guys just with me being quiet and hearing wind noise so I basically got the interesting parts only. My First group ride was a mess and everyone got split up, that was back on my 600 last year. But this one was pretty fun and interesting to say the least. Was a pretty chilly night but still had fun. My only recommendation for anyone thats gonna do this is to use kerosene for their "extra lube" bceause the break cleaner can corrode the o rings. Other than that this was an excellent video🤠

I love mine and I use it every day. It's better than my K3 750. I agree with rectifier issue but it is a great bike. Anyone can pick tiny faults with any motorcycle really. Love the vid mate. I am subscribing.

Mine turned off when i was riding one time and it ended up being the quick shifter wires. If this happened to anyone. Start in 2nd gear 1st will keep stalling

That’s a deal! Make sure it’s running and title clean.
Yes just make sure maintenance has been kept up and valve adjustment is good. They will last a long time tho.
Mine will get to 20000 miles in about 2 weeks. I love this motorcycle. I hope you did buy it

How did you get you plate light to work with that tail light? I just did you exact set up on my s1000rr but the moto dynamics plate light doesn't work with the tst light.
Man honestly can’t remember to good but I believe I tied into the brake light and worked fine right after that.

What was the bike doing exactly? What were the issues you were having?
I have a 2016 and its been dying occasionally like its running hot but once it dies I can't start it like the battery is completely dead...i can charge it ride it just fine and i can leave the bike for days go out and it will crank right up...what do you think?
Do any lights work after it dies?

Did you solve the issue? Mine shut off about 5-6 times on my way home doesn’t loose power cluster stays on but just stalls randomly at different speeds sometimes haven’t rode since I’ve been trying to diagnose the issue

No I didn’t adjust them. Maybe just the quality of camera I’d assume. But they were pretty bright in person

@@antownemercer7552 I have a 2012. But 2018 is the better gen! Grab it if you can. And after fixing issue on my bike it runs like a champ now. I love it

How do you get to turn just your driving ligths without the headlight ?
Low beams automatically turn on when you start up bike. Only one you can turn off and on are the high beams
If you haven’t figured it out yet. When you push in and turn, the parking lock engages, after the parking lock engages you turn the key to left without pushing in and thus turns on your parking light.

Hey man I was just curious I’m looking at a 07 gsxr 600 with 15000 miles. Will it have a lot of problems?
Typically no gsxr are really reliable. Just make sure to ask owner if he did his valve check and make sure fluids and pads are up to date

Well actually my first bike was a zx9r kawasaki but I only got to drive it on dirt
I’d honestly say shoot for a 400-600cc bike. 750 is do able but you just gotta have a lot of self control and really learn the power band. But if you have had some seat time before should be okay just be safe out there man!

Hi I experienced that "turn off" issue in city driving, no the lights or anything, just sudden off, i stopped the bike and startet after 2min with no issue. Now im getting signal on screen saying "!DWALO". Some ppl say its alarm batteri. Im experiencing nothing else. Did you experience same?
Yeah mine did the same but only difference is mine never showed anything on dash. Iv also heard ppl say it could be a cam or crank sensor.
Check your manual for this I believe it tells you what It means. I was reading the manual the other day and came across this, dwalo. Okay I'm back had a read again for you buddy Dwalo means battery weak. This is on page 28 of the manual However im reading the gen2 s1000r manual

@@cuuhriz Hmm, mine did. Have the hyper flash. I installed the resistors as I’m waiting for my TST rear tail light to come in to take away the bulky rear turn signals. Could be the reason I have the hyper flash
@@BMWS1KRider yeah maybe 🤔 that’s odd. And you’ll love the rear once you remove all that extra stuff.
Cooler Master made a pretty quiet board that utilizes these switches. The only problem is that it's a compact form factor keyboard and I need my separate F Keys.

@@cuuhriz Cooler Master CK720 is the board. It's a 65% board that apparently has the Kailh Box White v2 which is supposedly improved from the original Kailh Box Whites (which seems to be the one Glorious sells). It also has a silicone damping layer and combined with the V2 switch should make it more muted and more thocc sounding

My 2012 has open recalls on both the fuel pump and the electric switchgear (starter/Killswitch). The closest BMW dealer is over 5 hours away, so this is an expensive problem getting it transported. Even if it's covered under recall warranty.
Iv heard about those recalls but haven’t looked into them, might have to. Yeah unfortunately my nearest dealer is about 5hrs also.

No, no error code shows up and if it was showing up I didn’t see it. What does the EWS mean?

Put it in 2nd gear, cover your rear brake with your foot, and basically rev match like your trying to go down a gear but don’t switch gears, if I can find the video I’ll link it later

do you do anything to not get your bike stolen because it seems like you just left it outside during work and i got my ninja 400 stolen but i got a gsxr 750 now but i dont want it to get stolen at work or somewhere else
Sorry to hear that man! I don’t do anything because I park it right in front of the glass window. And that is our lobby for customers. And essentially I can almost see bike from any angle inside. I’d park as close as possible to any door or window of a building. Or gps tracker or even use a bike lock for it.
Probably start practicing on 2nd gear since 1st has too much torque... Based on my experience, mind giving me a shout out on the next vid? Haha :)
