The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black - Am I Blue? (1994)
Rock from the Anti-Naturalists release on Triple X Records. I saw this band at the Troubadour in Hollywood. The band and audience were both quite a spectacle.

This song means hella to me
The first band of Neilson Hubbard, I think. Well made - and an amazing voice. Thanks for sharing this!
I know a place where I can go when I'm alone Into your arms, whoa, into your arms I can go I know a place that's safe and warm from the crowd Into your arms, whoa, into your arms I can go And if I should fall I know I won't be alone Be alone anymore I know a place where I can go when I'm alone Into your arms, whoa, into your arms I can go I know a place that's safe and warm from the crowd Into your arms, whoa, into your arms I can go So if I should fall I know I won't be alone Be alone anymore I know a place where I can go when I'm alone Into your arms, whoa, into your arms I can go I can go
Such underrated talent right here
Im a bad boy forever. - cherie 🖤
👍 Excellent !!
Heard this in the early 70s. I had a musician friend who tried and tried and tried to play it on acoustic and remember all the lyrics. He failed each time. Then one night in Newport, R.I. at a small club, he got up to the stage with his axe, and with a good buzz on (he didn't let it out for a while 😂) and proceded to nail the mother from start to finish. The people went nuts!!!
❤
Eaaaa
My mom was in this video
thank you, great song.
Thanks one of my all time favorite punk songs.
So sad they took this off Spotify 😢
LOVE this cover!!! So much better than the original!!
Soy el único escuchando esta maravilla de música
a box of yellowing NME's from 1991 brought me here when I was looking through their singles reviews
Ditto, I hung out with Chris from time to time. I only saw mess a few times live. I saw Darlington far more times
Sometimes fires don’t go out.

I worked at a Village Inn Pizza parlor in the summer of ‘71 and this song seemed to be always on the in-house FM radio. Great times.

Country music ruins every song.
solid songwriting
wonderful
Such a great tune❤
Do you take music requests? I know an album that has never been uploaded online before
Loved this band saw them at least 8 times around yorkshire
Fuck. I miss Mark so much, such great voice yet so criminally underrated. For me Alice is the number one but Screaming Trees is close second. Rest in peace Mark Lanegan and Van Conner, always will be grateful for the music you delivered, god speed.
. … New Favourite Song Unlocked ( With Amazing Album Art To Boot ; That Clockwork Sparrow Alone Is So Detailed That My First Impulse Was To Drop Everything And Doodle It Immediately ) … . Also , Shoutout To Whoever Played Guitar In This ; Im Sure It Sounds Cliche , But Those Jangly Riffs Really Do Pull This Whole Thing Together :) . … However , As Great As This Song Is , Im Not Here Just To Sing Its Praises … . In Fact , The Real Reason I Stopped By Is Because Im Searching For The Name And Origin Of An Unidentified 90s Track , And Was Wondering If You , With Your Vast Library Of Indie Deep Cuts , Might Know Something About It :) … . Though I Still Have Loads Of Explanation To Give And Lots Of Questions To Ask , I Really Gotta Get Some Rest Right Now ( Weekdays , Am I Right ??? ? ) . … Gonna Follow Up With Another Comment Tomorrow Once Im Free . … Sorry To Leave You Hanging , - Viross ( GeG )
I hung out with Jamie a bunch of times when he was living in my home town of Towanda, Pennsylvania in 1986-7. What a cool guy! And he had an amazing Dylan bootleg collection all on reel to reel!
Album stupendo, purtroppo poco conosciuto!!!❤❤❤
White lion does a beautiful job in bringing the song to life! Like in the second verse, when he sings, Brenda Lee is coming on strong, the guitar says, hello-hello-hello And then after the second course, the the guitar creates the eerie sound of suspended animation or time stand still, bringing the part of the song that says," and the line of cars drove down real slow" to life. The only part that the musicians and writers don't know is what song what's played in the, "and the newsman played his same song", but I know what the song was..... A true story
Forever a fuzzy fan
The one and only Dee Robb on rhythm guitar! Awesome. RIP Dee Robb.
I worked at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles in 1984. Brothers Dee, Joe and Bruce were the owners.
The music of America comes through my radio Singing songs made of the finest platinum and gold Blasting fifty thousand watts of AM/FM trash Recycled every hour and converted into cash The MOA Incorporated music factory Units, products, pieces of the highest quality With a brand new and improved fresh functional design Engineered to fit within the fashion of our times Radioactivity and burning in the sun Critical mass in a flash, there's nowhere left to run The music of America, the soundtrack of the bored Devoid of feeling, without meaning, I've heard it all before Music of America Music of America Music of America Music of America Music of America Music of America Music of America Music of America
I like this more than the original❤
Since 89 for me
@@mattbartolovich8228 Yep me too!
Seems like I probably heard this on the radio a load but have completely forgot it
Such an amazing song
Perfeito!
I’m die hard Zeppelin and give this a thumbs up! It’s a cool interpretation.
Josh.....
Sound like early Hollies!
One of their best songs... and it's not on any of their albums 😒
Tenía este cassette, buenos rwcuerdos
The theme of my college days in the Rockies.
This song reminds me of SDSU college days
