Highs and Lows
Highs and Lows - Torchier
“Highs and Lows” is a soulful, heartfelt song about life’s ups and downs-its triumphs, trials, and the lessons we learn along the way. With reflective lyrics and a warm, weathered vocal delivery, this track explores the tension between pride and humility, brokenness and healing, despair and hope.
Inspired by hard-earned wisdom and grounded in real human stories, “Highs and Lows” is a reminder that even in life’s darkest valleys, there’s always a way forward. Blending elements of folk, blues, and soul, the song invites listeners to embrace their journey, knowing that every step-high or low-is part of a greater story.

Somebody Should Tell Her" - A Soulful R&B Anthem of Hope and Grace 🎶 "Somebody Should Tell Her" is a heartfelt R&B ballad that tells the story of a woman weighed down by life’s struggles, believing that the best things are far off. Yet, through the eyes of a compassionate observer, she’s reminded of the truth: she’s already chosen, loved, and walking in blessings she hasn’t even noticed. With a...

Have I mentioned that I love AM Pop? It's 1960s elevator music. It's beautiful. This takes me back to shopping with my mom and dad at the PX on Vandenberg Air Force base. Dad always wore his uniform, I think it was required in the PX.
An awesome creation. I love it. That will be RCreeks official song.
That was great!
This music feels like poetry in motion - absolutely captivating!💯👍
Thank you for listening, glad you enjoyed it!
sounds amazing, great work!💯👍
Thanks so much for giving it a listen!

Love the vocals you have here. This song just felt great from start to finish. Great work. Subscribed!
Thanks for listening and following!
Nice
Oh hey look who's on TH-cam! Hiya pops! Thanks for the feedback, glad you like it.
Magical.
Exquisite!!
What's the song?
It is the poem, The Better Land by Felicia Hemans, 1793-1835, set to musical accompaniment.
I get it.
It's the missing track from the "O Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack!!
Please keep them coming. I now look forward each day to listening through your new material. Today I checked in early. But I should be working. This is especially delicate. Very fine work. It's got a mind of its own, it seems.
Thanks so much for listening! Making these is always fun, but songs like this one rise above being just fun and become joyful for the wonder of what is unfolding. I feel like I'm getting a gift dumped in my lap.
It's sublime.
I blame the line-dancing craze for this kind of nonsense!!
The voice in this is quite unbelievable. It sounds like Anthony and the Johnsons. Which I mean as the highest compliment.
This is really beautiful song. Did you write it?
Fantastic stuff. You have hit the mother lode. This is all such quality output. And hymns turned out to be the perfect lyrical material. I was getting a little tired of hearing people's terrible song writing efforts set to astonishingly brilliant music!!
I loved it!!
I'm blown away. How is this possible? Absolute perfection.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
@@MarkHinderliter I'm still listening to this regularly !! I have it saved on my phone. I vastly prefer this version to the plodding church standard. I plan to learn to play this version, at some point, hopefully.
@@fiasco2003 Hey I"m glad to hear that, thank you! I'd like to put together a whole album of such at some point. Lemme know if you have song ideas. You can find me in the www.reddit.com/r/udiomusic/ community under the name PopnCrunch.
@@fiasco2003 by the way, you can find the wider world of my music at th-cam.com/channels/y_kMwXQECaemTdhnsKdSKA.html. It's not praise & worship, it's presently almost exclusively instrumental.
Beautiful.

Kinda fire
Thanks, glad you enjoy it!
[Verse] In the peacefulness of night, beneath silver moon's soft glow, Murmurs on the breeze, mysteries only it may know. Shadows spread along the path, dim tapestries they weave, A gentle tug upon the heart, a prompting to perceive. [Interlude] [Verse Repeats] Tread but slow and softly, in rhythm with the night, Stars above, bright spangles, spill down guiding light. Sweet night blooming jasmine, perfumes the evening air, A fleeting breath of magic, exquisite, tender, rare. [Interlude] [Chorus] Oh, still night holds mysteries, in quiet lovely dark, An enigmatic wonder, a gently pulsing spark. Cleave to this wordless secret, that bids the spirit soar, In this enchanted hour, press on all the more [Interlude] [Verse Repeats] As dawn begins to break, and the night bids friends farewell, Mementos of this journey, in brave hearts, will ever dwell. This planted soft refrain, secured in night's embrace, Is in truth enchantment, a hallowed earthly grace. [Interlude]
epic!
Good take on a classic. Very refreshing, awesome job 🤘
[ETERNITY by Robert Herrick] O years! and age! farewell: Behold I go, Where I do know Infinity to dwell. And these mine eyes shall see All times, how they Are lost i' th' sea Of vast eternity:-- Where never moon shall sway The stars; but she, And night, shall be Drown'd in one endless day.
I love this song 😊
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy it!
Praise God
Not bad.

Can I have the tab? Thanks
really beautiful! do you have the tabs ?
sounds great, but do you have any tabs?
I really love this version as I also love solo fingerstyle.. was wondering if you possibly have tabs or sheet music for this?
Gotta post another version of this, I realize now there's a quick descending line on top of the Dmi7 chord (5th fret) that's not in this.
\o/!
Crummy dobro sound brought to you by knit hats under the mic absorbing the oomph. Just starting out on recording for TH-cam, I'll learn how to do it better. First I have to take me guitar to the shop and have the electronics checked so I can plug it in. Lemme know if you have suggestions on clean effects/ processing.
Good job Mark. Happy New Year!
