With all this talk from Shidou about comparing his philosophy of soccer to that of fertilisation, one thing I cannot unsee after someone mentioned it is the fact that Shidou looks “pregnant” during his slow mo celebration. I’ve never been the same since. But this episode was by far the best. Despite Shidou being absolutely zesty, he’s hella entertaining. And with Ego, I actually thought it was really cool to see Ego being surprised by how passionate they were about wanting to win, even if he predicted that they wanted to win in the first place. It goes to show how much their ego surpassed his expectations.

First time tuning into your channel and I really enjoyed your commentary throughout the video. You bascially had the same thought process I had when watching this episode. Everything from pointing out Isagi somehow NOT being able to anticipate Sae passing to Shidou & noticing that some of these BL players are better suited for other positions rather than being strikers. Gagamaru, Hiyori, Niko are great examples.

His breath brushed against James's stomach, causing a sharp intake of breath that only Eli noticed. His lips grazed an apple as he struggled to keep his focus, but all he could feel was James’s presence, so close, so inviting. Finally, Eli caught the apple with his teeth, but before pulling away, their eyes met again, and a soft grin spread across James's face. The room may have been filled with laughter and teasing remarks, but for the two boys, time seemed to pause in the shared intensity of the moment. When Eli finally pulled back, the apple dropped to the floor, but it didn’t matter. They were both left breathless, feeling the charge between them that no one else seemed to notice. A spark had ignited in the most unexpected of games, and they knew that this night would change things. Without a word, James’s fingers lingered a little longer at Eli's side, a silent promise of what was to come.

The anime left out a small panel from the manga. For more context, Mayuri left Pernida in a perpetual state of exploding and regrowing indefinitely until there’s nothing left. The anime just left it at Pernida simply exploding.
