Doesnt even seem like the starter. It cranked over and tried to run but seemed to choke out. Probably a lack of fuel, perhaps the factory fuel pump has FINALLY worn out.

These cars are great cruisers, the transmission is very nice as well. Never seemed to get good fuel economy in the one i had but that may have been cause i was flooring it all the time. Theyre not fast but i miss their rugged nature and reliability

Just curious, were you running 93 octane fuel in it? I heard these particular engines, 1MZ-FE run and perform better when using that grade of fuel.

Manual version, rear muffler delete, = 0-60 7 sec, top speed 220 km/h. Camry’s problem is its to lifted and doesn’t handle corners well because of its soft suspension. Pretty good of a poor man’s family car
