I truly don’t believe anyone on this cast is a colorist, however I do believe that a majority of the cast benefits from their proximity to whiteness. And when you work for a network that rewards bad behavior and creates a set of rules of certain cast member, it can make people wonder why they aren’t held accountable. I just don’t think you can blame anyone for the privileges they were born with. You can only blame the society that sets the standards. As a light skinned person I’m fully aware of how others see that as a benefit, I however don’t and wouldn’t ever weaponize it against another person of color.

This was really good. I think both things are true. Jaleel being a young man probably had a big head being one of the biggest sitcom stars at the time. There were literally dolls of him. And I’m sure the actions of a young, newly rich, and famous teenager rubbed his cast the wrong way. At the same time, the original cast most certainly had an attitude towards the actor whose character originally was supposed to be a one and done guest star hijacked their show. I think Jo Marie Payton experienced the same thing Janet Hubert did on The Fresh Prince. And even Will has come to admit his actions on set were annoying to his cast mates.

Robyn became an awful housewife. By the end of season one, I knew Robyn was a follower. She was a flop. The bottom line is that Robyn is two-faced. That's why she got along with the ladies without Gizelle but couldn't be herself with them with Gizelle. That is some hard-core insecurity. No backbone. She never gave good advice, solved a situation, or made any sense. When she was messy, it still was a flop because her personal was in shambles. Like how dare she come for anyone or make a comment when she and Juan were in a hot mess foolery at the house. Do we really know what was going on with Robyn and Juan? We know a lot, but I'm sure there's more. Yes, she's a top 10 flop housewive. Like number 7.
