Madrid is dirty, full of dog shit and rubbish piled up next to full bins. Madrid is incredibly expensive for some services (washing a shirt costs 5€, cleaning a flat costs 12€ per hour, under the table). Houses are very expensive, small and badly built; they are only beautiful from the outside. In addition service and customer care Spain is one of the worst countries in the world. I ordered a drying rack 3 times and 3 times it arrived broken. Shameful. The couriers are the worst I have ever seen in my life. It's nice to spend a weekend in this city but no more. I don't recommend anyone to come and live here.

You are right about the new generation. They have far more opportunities and they're not really restricted geographically as much. Where I'm from here in America, you were born here, you work here, and you're die here. However, we're in a new era now and that's changing. I'm retired now and fixing to peel on out of here myself. There's no reason for me to stay. This was a good video, I don't feel so lost anymore.

Haven't spent much time there in almost 20 years. Looks more touristy now. Too hot in Summer and too cold in Winter. A young city for Spain as it's only about 500 years old. But a good night life in Summer.
