The emphasis that he walked in close fellowship with God and was raptured actually does reflect that those who will be taken up to God will walk in close fellowship with him. Wow

I giggled when I read how the parents of the blind man said to the scribes” He is of age, ask him” It’s like no be me you go implicate, I wasn’t there. Ask him let him talk by himself 😅. And verse 25 “ the blind man was probably like - all this one you guys are saying isn’t my business” I sha know the man brought back my sight” 😂 He believed and was confused as to why the scribes wouldn’t believe and kept questioning him, they literally had to call his parents to confirm that he was blind from birth and all that, asking him repeatedly how his sight came back.. C’monn…😄🤦🏻‍♀️ Interesting read! 🤗

I loved reading the story in this chapter 🥹, The first few verses (1-3) reveals that a not all forms of sufferings are necessarily from Sin itself. When his disciples asked why the man was blind and Christ said “neither this man nor his parents sinned” BUT “that the works of God be revealed in him.” Certain times when we face hardships we first think we have wronged God.(that’s the first human instinct) Just like the story of Job too, his friends saying Job must have wronged God. Thoughts like Maybe it’s because you’ve not been devoted to him and creating lots of reasons as to why you should be facing that. This particular verse just revealed to me that you could be facing that strong hold because of what it could birth out of you or God revealing himself in you. Really amazing 🤌🏻 🔥 Last week, my younger sister asked a question, she said “ if it’s the Will of God for Us to Recover all we have lost, Then why did he allow us loose it at the first place “ I smiled and said that was a really smart and beautiful question. I pondered hmm, Job too he lost all he had.. yes it was recovered and he case was God proving Jobs faithfulness as a servant to the devil. But in all of this, you mustn’t have sinned to be going through tough times! Your sin compares to nothing to the love of God! Sometimes he wants to reveal himself 🤍🫂

Jesus was a selfless man. A man of service. He did not live an easy life and we are encouraged to follow his example 🙌🏿

You are so right. Discernment is paramount. Can you imagine the Messiah came and yet some couldn't discern him. They died believing he hadn't yet come yet they had an opportunity to handle the bread of life. God forbid!!! The gravity of not believing in Jesus then is like the gravity of not believing the holy spirit now. God forbids disbelief.
