A selection of clips taken at Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone - Poole Holton Heath and on the Swanage branch during the past couple of years. Great to see these locos still going strong on our railways here in the South.

Having spending the day cycling around Bath I could not resist a quick trip on the old disused line up to the Avon Valley Railway. Good to see the 31 in action ,only wished I could have stayed a bit longer than just the hour. Ill be back.

During the late 80s and early 90s I spent so much time around Waterloo and surrounding areas watching but never filming or photographing which I regret so much , so I decided to do a few trips in the last 6 months to collect lots of footage before the normal changes once again . Interesting to see the 455 units are still going strong but for how much longer .

Always great to see this 455 unit 5868 out and about. Today it was running the Waterloo to Waterloo service about an hour twenty return trip with 5705 . I started my day at Waterloo then later headed back to Clapham Junction for a few hours before heading home to Dorset.

A quick trip down to my local to watch 69009 running round the some what overgrown Poole yard with a 458 unit drag. 5Z66 15.30 Bournemouth to Eastleigh East yard.

A really short video from a last minute day out today . A day that was full of promises but sadly all the trains on the hit list got cancelled one by one. Despite that still good to be out on a hot day and a very windy one from the top of the carpark.

On Friday 12th July I headed to Toddington for this years GWSR Diesel Gala which included all the home fleet of Diesel plus visiting loco class 26 No 5310 from the Llangollen Railway . I Spent the day filming as much as I could but developed a problem with external Mic so could only use some of the filming from the day. For this event I spent a lot of time doing Photography but I still wanted to Video and capture the sights and sounds so have put together a few clips from the weekend from a couple of my favourite locations.

A quick drive out this afternoon to Compton Abbas to see the Dakota depart and for me the largest aircraft I have ever seen at this scenic grass Airstrip .Also was good to see and hear the roar of the Spitfires whilst they spend the weekend giving flying experiences .

After a five year absence BR Class 31203 { D5627 } made a welcome return to traffic as it took part in the Coal train's special event weekend. The Railway put on a good show which also featured newly painted 1873 Hunslet 18 'Jessie ' and 1857 Hudswell Clarke steam locomotives .It was also Great to see the crew of the 31 looking smart in there typical Diesel drivers uniform from the period. Well...

A quick trip to Dorchester to see 50008 as she lead the 1Z79 Railtour from Eastleigh to Weymouth. As usual the sun was out then decided to hide a minute before she came round the corner , what with that and the strong winds and so nearly being ruined by the Weymouth to Waterloo service blocking my view . still great to see and hear a 50 back in Dorset.

So today both 33111 and 33012 (D6515) collected 34053 Sir Keith Park from Norden after being brought by road from the Herston Works. The convoy then headed back to Swanage on a restricted 15mph for this move. I last filmed Sir Keith when she made her way to the works on one of my previous videos on the 02/11/22 .
