Hell yeah, guitar is not as defined with the notes, but still possible! For guitar, you need to bend the string to mimic a vocal

Yes I am using software. I plug into an audio interface, then that goes to your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation, like Logic, Ableton etc.) Then in the DAW, I am using Neural DSP's Plugins for my sound. This was using Neural DSP's Archetype: Plini. How that helps!
