Reclaiming the Sword
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 พ.ย. 2021
The sword has been a symbol of good moral order for centuries. It has been the chosen tool to defend the innocent, bring about justice and to strike down enemies. Beyond the physical it is also the chosen symbol for the word or spirit of God. The word that cuts through sin, that strikes the blackness of evil and brings about truth. Men are called to be the harbingers of spiritual battles. It is our responsibility to pick up our weapons and charge ahead. But we have aloud our roles to be diminished as leaders, both spiritual and physical. Reclaim your sword and rejoin the ranks of God's Army against the evil of this day. Be the spiritual leaders of your house, be the warrior in your vocation, be the one who brings God back into a Godless world.

How to be a peaceful keyboard warrior

Recently I’ve noticed my heart swell for all the poor souls falling for this silly movement of walking away from marriage. This brought me to an encounter where I unlocked a new achievement, “peaceful keyboard warrior”.
Well that’s weird.

Is there a theology of our faces? Does hiding what God has created in order to comply with a growing atheistic world equal obedience to the authorities God has appointed over us? Or has hiding our humanity, designed by God, equated to disobedience? Over 770 days has passed since 15 days to slow the spread. Perhaps those days are all over, but should they ever return we would be foolish not to c...

We have two options, stay or leave the church, in both you will need to pray in spirit and true and keep the Word and obey the Lord!
@@maustoth no one hear is talking of leaving the Church. Don’t even flirt with the notion.
Leaving the Church is not an option, you shouldn’t talk like that.
Our computer was in the basement when I was a kid. Unfortunately!
I am happy to hear of your Rosary prayers. Very good advice. Mother Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary, pray for us!
Hi Ryan! I just have a few questions for you. Isn't the SSPX borderline schismatic if not actually so? Why would you choose to risk that for your family (especially when the FSSP is also available)? On another note, did Jesus not say to Peter that 'whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven'? How can you understand, then, the authority of the papacy without understanding that anything the Church allows, God allows. And the Church, the Papacy, will figure itself out since the Pope himself is in constant communication with God, and God has entrusted His Church to him. Do you not trust that God would not let his Church go astray? I understand seeing the beauty and holiness in Tradition, and Traditional churches, but how can you justify schism. Ever. I can't understand it. FSSP is a valid choice, and then you remain under the One, True, Catholic and Apostolic Church Jesus instituted. Then, you can simply lean back and trust that Jesus will figure everything out. That is what we are meant to do as his children, isn't it? Hope you could clear some of this up for me, thanks
@@jennamaria2485 that was five questions. And I find the comment about risking my family to be insulting and ignorant and I don’t much care for it, which leads me to suspect that you had no intention of wanting me to “clear things up” for you. But I’ll play along for the moment. There is no such thing as borderline schismatic. You either are or you are not. You cannot be in schism if you seek permissions from and receive said permissions from the Vatican. The sspx does not deny the authority of Rome. The excommunications were deemed invalid, making all punishments erroneous. Speaking of erroneous, authority can become erroneous if authority is abrogated when one undermines the trust of authority. “But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema.” The Church has had heretical Popes in the past. It wasn’t fixed by sitting on laurels of apathy. If I missed anything, it’s because you wrote too much. Come on, really? The sspx is the problem here? Not enough pachamama’s, suppression of the liturgy, you can reach God from other religions or blessing same sex couples? Listen, if you don’t know that there is a crisis in the Church then I can’t help you. Either folks are smart enough to listen to the what the sspx has to say, or they listen to folks who are not in the society tell them what to think…. Or they love this synodal heretic crap. Pray for the Church, pray for the Popes holy intentions, God bless.
@@reclaimingthesword9426 Couldn't have put it better myself!
@@reclaimingthesword9426well said. I pray that more people study this and comprehend.
@@reclaimingthesword9426 I'm sorry if my comment seemed confrontational. I have heard a lot of negative things on the SSPX and their standing in the Church. I have seen your videos and from what I can tell you are not the kind of man to risk your family, and that I why I was genuinely confused and concerned. I still struggle to understand their place... but thanks for sharing your perspective.
@ start here. And see if you can find anything schismatic? sspx.org/en In fact I challenge you to find evidence of any of the “schism” accusations in the source material approved by the society.
This was great, Ryan. Thank you.
Aaaaaaahhhh there you are ... Good job
Great video, so glad Laura is coming back to You Tube , she has great wisdom, as do you. It is said that the evil one’s plan is to break up the family and marriage. We must continue to pray for the sanctity of marriage, and families. God bless you Laura and your family
Congrats on completion of your tour in Germany heading back to Conus

I wanna know what you think about this little rant. Have you heard of this movement? You have any thoughts about how people undermine marriage these days? Anything!

I love your car chats! I hear them a lot. ;)
Fun fact I just discovered in reference to the Popes new biography, he suggests that homosexuals need the same legal status as real married folk….. I’m not saying anything, just letting you know the boat is leaking water. th-cam.com/users/liver_7qTVSyUF0?si=ZZbcYJe6XqKVj6km
Hi Laura!!! Ahem good message, good reminder
Hi Mary! Haha, I didn't know he was filming ... whoops!
Ty for this video & for your service. Please drive carefully. I am new-or at least when I subbed you were in a time of few postings. Similarly with your wife, i found her near the end of her YT channel postings. But glad to be a new & thus far fairly long time (I think it is over a year?) loyal subbie. I am certain you pray for your subbies.
It's also interesting that St. Faustina wrote this on the day Pope Francis was born: December 17, [1936]. I have offered this day for priests. I have suffered more today than ever before, both interiorly and exteriorly. I did not know it was possible to suffer so much in one day. I tried to make a Holy Hour, in the course of which my spirit had a taste of the bitterness of the Garden of Gethsemane. I am fighting alone, supported by His arm, against all the difficulties that face me like unassailable walls. But I trust in the power of His name and I fear nothing. - Diary of St. Faustina, 823 God bless you and your family! Thank you for your service!
Wow. That is absolutely chilling. Thank you for sharing.
You should check out Michael Lofton's series on Fiducia Supplicans. He's made some great commentary, worth a listen.
Yes I recommend this too! Ryan please tell Laura I said hi! -Grecia
I wouldn’t recommend anyone who concludes that any disagreements are schismatic. Even to the point of claiming, praying for the popes conversion, makes someone a Protestant. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, but I prefer to stay away from the clocks that are condescending and gas light fellow Catholics into sub groups of bad guys vs good guys. This seems to be his rule over the exception. And yes, I listened to him. I’ve listened to him say Bishop Strickland is a sedevacantist, I’ve listened to him defend Cardinal Fernandez perverted sexual fantasy books, I’ve listened to him purposely take other writers out of context and make wild accusations of schism. If you like him, like him for the right reasons. Catholic TH-camrs are human and capable of error because we are flawed since Eden. Lofton is no different, and his errors and lack of charity illustrate how much error he is in. At the end of the day, we are baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not the Father, Son and Michael Loftin. Or Pope Francis, Taylor Marshal, Bishop Barron, Archbishop Lefebvre, Scott Hann. God gave us his Church for proper worship and salvation. The Church is tradition, scripture and magisterium, a trinity if you will. If any one of those goes missing from the church, we no longer have a three legged stool. Choose, but choose wisely.
Lofton is a self-aggrandizing, divisive blowhard. He’s not worth listening to for even a second.
@@reclaimingthesword9426Perfectly stated!
Be careful, if you’re an RTC.
God bless, man. I’m a vet and in the process of becoming Catholic. I’d appreciate any prayers and advice you might have! Appreciate the videos brother
Welcome home brother. If there is any generic advice I could give it would be, don’t be scrupulous but don’t be indifferent. Seek the truth of our faith and traditions. And of course, be rigid, like a cross. We’ll be praying.
The world is on fire folks. But our father will get us to where we are going. We just need to trust him like a child.
Beautiful, Ryan, thank you!
Great video - well done! Keep up the good work… I know it’s very hard especially with all your obligations and commitments.
1) worth the wait 2) phone and seeing your facial expressions & thinking are great 3) I recently realized I need this lesson, so thank you. 4) I'm glad all the upheaval worked out. God is great.
A beautiful message Ryan. Thank you 🙏
Stay rigid.
10:46 this abuse of the Eucharist hurts gravely.
5:37 the mask communicates to me that we’re hyping dangers and false narratives and fear. It communicates distrust and lack of love. Regarding the video, did you come up with/ write the words to your speech? Whether you delivered the message or even crafted it, thank you. Fine job.
It had been on my heart for sometime, especially since it directly affected me in my job and previous false loyalties being in the military. The Holy Spirit gave me the ability to have the words for it.
Such a sweet affectionate ending!❤
Beautiful, thank you!
Thank you, Ryan. I needed to hear this.

Thank you. I’ve went from video to video searching for answers for this calling I feel towards the Catholic Church. Although I did learn some things from Laura, most Catholic based videos left me with more questions than I came in with. You speaking from a man/husband’s point of view and practice is very much appreciated. Keep sharing the faith and thank you for your service. Formerly, SFC James A. 82d Airborne Division
Thanks James, I’m happy that I could help out. I’m sure your faith walk may help someone someday too.
Thank you Ryan for this video! I needed this! In the Mass I go to the priest doesnt allow attendants to receive the Holy Comunion in the tongue. He says explicitely before every time he is about to give Him: "We are receiving the communion in the hands" I was doubting to write the archidiocesis or not to tell this, and this video inspired me to finally do it ( it really touched me when you tell the story of the exorcism and how the demons are pleased that we receive Him in the hands) Forgive me if something is not written or expressed correctly, I'm from Spain so my English is not my first language! Thank you so much again for the video, I pray for you and your family! I just discovered this channel and I'm a new subscriber! (I'm already subscribed to Laura's and I love her so much, he really helped me grow in my faith. Watching her videos has been such a blessing for me!)
Thanks for the message. I pray that our clergy will stop treating the host like a meal and start treating it like a sacrifice. It is a sad state our Church is in right now. The world has corrupted the hearts and minds of so many. I recommend staying away from norvus ordo liturgies. They too often leave room for scandal and heartbreak. If you can, find a parish that has the traditional liturgy. FSSP, SSPX, ICKSP.... there are others. It is our heritage and birthright as Catholics to be called to the sacrifice and approach our King reverently on our knees in adoration of his divinity. To be asked to treat his body like a snack is, in my mind, akin to the heresy of indifference. Thanks again for watching. Sorry these early videos are such low quality; I plan to refilm them soon. Viva Cristo Rey!
I've read through quite a bit of the Encounter The Saints series from Pauline Books.
I have the Saint Pius X and I agree it was very good.
Did your exemption get denied? Mine did, I just submitted the appeal.
I got an email, use that.
How I wish I could hear sermons at my parish with this much truth. Beautiful words and delivery!
Excellent, Ryan!!! We've had some of the worst lockdown rules and masking mandates in the world here in Australia, I refused to wear a mask and even got stopped by the police at one time. I stood my ground. They left. If we all stand up they will have no choice but to leave us alone.
Let everyone take a note from Roslyn here. She bucked the system as much as possible in Australia! Thank you for having courage Roslyn. Most Americans have no idea how close we came to that. Btw, I hope you’ve been having a good week, you’ve been in our prayers.
