August 20, 2024 Pacific Raceways race. I went "early" because no one was sprinting and I wanted to either be able to get a jump on the pack or lead my teammate Bailey out. Both kind of worked - he won the race and I came in second.

Back after illness, let's see what we've got in the legs and lungs!

No commentary again this week. Won the photo finish for third.

Won both primes, but the finish was really odd - we got passed by the Master's field in the last half lap and it messed with the end. Not a super satisfying finish but a fun race. It was also almost 100 degrees!

Saturday Crit June 29, 2024, no commentary. Had a terrible lineup and start and spent several laps moving up, and by the time I did there was already a split. That pales in comparison to later in the race, though... I didn't realize it was the last lap and didn't sprint at the end 🤦‍♂️

No commentary this week. Went for the first prime and lost it because I stupidly sat up way too much after dropping other riders on the hill, then lost the sprint at the end. Not my best week.

Hitting corners in 95 degree heat - honestly the most fun part of my BCCC weekend. I took a flyer a couple of laps in because I wanted to have some fun and felt like if I could bridge up to the break they might stay away.
