I grew up in Russia. It was simple life, but I remember now only good moments. Me and my sister went to music school-7 years. Every educated family sent kids to art school or music school. We always went to theatres, exhibitions, we had nice cultural life . I had kidney problems and every year I went for 24 days to mineral water resorts; it was free. I got master's degree also free. We even travelled very often free.

In response to your question about growing up in a communist country, I can say that I might be able to share more than Melania. If she were to say it was great, she would likely face a lot of criticism. My answer is this: I had a happy childhood. We had amazing teachers and wonderful summer holidays-three whole months! During that time, we went to holiday camps and participated in various activities. At school and during vacations, we could do everything: sports, music, theater, and more. Everyone had access to good medical care, and if we enjoyed learning, we could study without barriers. We were taught to respect older generations, teachers, and our country, and we took pride in being part of it. We had great relationships within our families, a rich culture, and a sense of community. Honestly, I can say we were fortunate to grow up under communism.
