In the hospital I have seen nurses prim this bag set by hand. We just had to change to the infinity pump, and I could not get the hand prime to work (being a clinic nurse myself I never learned this in my job). It seemed so easy to watch but so frustrating to fail when trying. The pump has auto prime but it is slow. Thank you for the video explanation.

Try priming your tube with water first. Easy peasy. 2 or so mL's of water in the bag, hold the bag up and pinch the tube to start the flow. We use the same Real Food and prime this way every time. Super easy. Super fast.

Very helpful info, Thank you for such a good video. The diy solution currently working for me is looping one small rubber band to hold ends together. Its a little bit similar to the silicone solution shown in this video. Really like the diy plastic case idea too. Just came up with one more diy method for my elderly dad's tube. We use a couple bread twist ties to hold the feeding nozzle into the y-port. Easier than the rubberband for my dad to do but a minor risk using twist ties, being made wire. so caution to anyone trying that approach please

Thanks for sharing the review of the tubie pads. I am always looking for new tubie pads the are good quality with a good variety of designs. Many shops seem to do all kid designs and forget that adults have feeding tubes too
