PARAISO was written and arranged by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab for the second album of Smokey Mountain and was released in the Philippines in 1991. This song won the Grand Prize at the 1992 Tokyo Pop Music Festival.
On 03-September-2023 during the event, Kwentong Pinoy: Balikatan para sa Kalikasan (Shoulder to Shoulder for Nature). The Filipino Choir of St. Francis Inc. in Melbourne a.k.a "The Kiko Choir" was blessed to sing this award winning masterpiece with one of the original singer Ms. Chedi Vergara of Smokey Mountain.
