Jay, if you see this, when I first heard you played this at Magdalene College Chapel, I was totally taken aback. You played so well and I was sucked in to the music.

This looks to be the easiest to learn of the "sounds difficult" pieces. The manuals will be easy to nail down; the eighth-note pedal runs go easily along the scale. I can't wait to start working on it!

@@reubencash9226 I'm getting a late start on this - I just secured my (old) church pianist job and managed last week to organize practice time in the sanctuary. So NOW I will start working on it!

This is such a powerful piece. Each time I hear it I tear up because this is the last piece my beloved grandmother played at her retirement recital after 52 years on the bench!! ♥️
What a wonderful way to hold such a beautiful memory.
To say this piece isn't easy is an understatement. Now I know why we don't hear it enough! Masterful.

Surtout la plus connue, et je la trouve très belle, aussi on la retrouve dans Jean Michel Jarre Rendez-Vous
C'est la pièce la plus connue, mais les autres pièces ne sont pas à négliger non plus! ^_^
Notamment, il y a un scherzo de Gigout qui me plaît beaucoup (en mi, si je me souviens correct). Mais comme les autres, je préfère la toccata.
