    I returned 4 fans from this brand because they all had the same issue with the automatic mode. I’m not sure if it’s a manufacturing defect or false advertising, but it’s unbelievable that, even at 9 degrees at night, the fan wouldn’t adjust its speed in automatic mode. I set it to the highest speed, and it just stayed there without any change, despite the cold conditions. What’s most frustrating is that I tested this with 4 different fans, of various sizes, and they all had the same problem. Either I had incredibly bad luck and all 4 were defective, or the automatic mode simply doesn’t work as advertised.

    So why would anyone want an oscillating fan/air circulator that blew air in any other direction than where the user was..makes no sense.

    • @RealSenseChannel
      @RealSenseChannel 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well practically speaking oscillation has the benefit of cooling a room faster, since there is more air in circulation. Also I don't like having a constant stream of air blowing on my face, it gets bothersome.

    • @TrojanRabbit-sg9bl
      @TrojanRabbit-sg9bl 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RealSenseChannel Oscillation doesn't cool the air it's moving it just moves it, if the air in the room is 82 degrees it's staying at 82 degrees oscillating or not, and an air circulator will NEVER change that.

    • @RealSenseChannel
      @RealSenseChannel 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TrojanRabbit-sg9bl Well a room typically is never 1 temperature throught, there are cooler spots and warmer spots. When the sun shines through a window, it warms up the room. The warm air rises because hot air is lighter than cool air. Meanwhile, cooler air, being heavier, drops to the lower parts of the room. This is why you might feel cooler air near the floor and warmer air near the ceiling. Air circulation helps mix this air, making the room temperature feel more uniform, therefore making hot areas less hot making the room overall cooler.

    • @TrojanRabbit-sg9bl
      @TrojanRabbit-sg9bl 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RealSenseChannel All true, but that mixing of air temperatures is a process that would be noticeably different in different locations for only seconds after the air circulator was activated.

    • @offworlder1
      @offworlder1 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@TrojanRabbit-sg9bl It actually does cool a room as where I work there is a room that is always hot and has computers and equipment in it, 30 mins to 1 hour later and the room is much cooler, we tested it with different people coming into the room before the fan and after the fan was on. I bought the fan because it proved so valuable and the one guy is not always there nor would he leave his $100 smart fan, I have a small fan I used but it nothing compared to the large dreo fan.

    if you set the intensity by holding the button to maximum possible , will the auto-dimming feature change it again on its own ? I am concerned about this because I read it keeps dimming the light on its own all the time and you have to keep changing to the intensity you want again , and again , and again

    • @RealSenseChannel
      @RealSenseChannel 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      At around 3:00 I went over the auto- dimming feature. When auto-dimming is turned on the light will dim automatically so that the intensity detected by the light sensor is about 500 LUX. If you want to manually increase the intensity, auto-dimming must be turned off, therefore intensity will remain at what you set it to. Hopefully that helps!

    Hello, Love the review! How long have you had your Dreo fan? Negative comments I’ve read about the fan include a power cord that easily comes loose and overheats, a screeching noise when the fan oscillates back and forth and issues with the fan quitting after a few months. Have you experienced any of these issues?

    • @RealSenseChannel
      @RealSenseChannel 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the questions. I've owned the fan for over a year now and out of those things the only thing I've experienced is a bit of noise while oscillating, I tried to capture it in the video but it is quite faint, and honestly most oscillating fans do end up having little rattles build overtime. It doesn't bother me, but I could see it bothering someone with more sensitive hearing.

      Correct, any charger with 5V output is compatible. Yes, laptops do regulate to 5V, and so do many wall chargers. Now double check the power bank you use and the specific USB port you will use for charging, because in my case I used a 100W output from one of my Power Stations and the specific port I used is for fast charging and does not regulate down to 5V, so it must have damaged the charge controller in the Light Bar.

    " got this used, barely portable, heavy, non foldable solar panel for 125 dollars on facebook marketplace. " weird how that tidbit didn't make it into the thumbnail, title, or even description. Glad you spent so much energy plugging yourself on other peoples videos. Why not just market the video as a viable DIY option instead of marketing directly opposite ecoflow? Who wants to lug this (~145$) setup around? Why not share the ACTUAL cost of the project? "550$ vs 20$" is disingenuous and lazy.

    • @RealSenseChannel
      @RealSenseChannel ปีที่แล้ว

      The video is called "Make any Solar Panel work with any Power Station" meaning you must already own a solar panel or are looking for one, I don't specify which solar panel to use that's why "Any" is in the title, and that regardless of the solar panel a $20 voltage converter is a way around making a non-compatible panel become compatible. Also I use Ecoflow as an example of how expensive "portable solar panels" are, since many would assume that only the brand solar panel works with the brand of power station, I myself used to make that assumption from lack of knowledge and I'm only sharing a cheap work around.
