I said a ten second car, not a ten minute car. Friend had a gen 3 turbo. Drove through a puddle and it unfortunately was stolen and torched due to the puddle.

With all that oil burning there should be the correct amount of oil in no time.

Drain oil do a flush add correct amount back.Let it run for a while will smoke and smoke then it’ll clear up!
This reminds me of my old lawn mower, let it run until smoke comes out clear.
seems like head-gaskets are blown?! and probably also some blow-by by the pistons. re-honing, new scrape rings around pistons, engine wash and new head gaskets huh?
No… none of that… it’s simply smoking because it is over filled which is causing oil to be burned.

Mechanic- good news, I found where your oil is going. Customer- great!!!where?? Mechanic- well you see when you mix oil and coolant together you get a milkshake and uh yeah your oil has decided your coolant passages weren't lubed up enough and decided to evacuate into your coolant passages.
No… it’s not a blown head gasket it’s only smoking because the oil is way over filled. The amount of people in this comment section that don’t understand that genuinely pisses me off

@@joelvanhandel1605 either way it's not good bc now the piston rings could be damaged since the oil is getting past the rings causing it to burn oil and have issues with compression.
@@joelvanhandel1605 I'm not dumb I know what I'm talking about if there is coolant in the oil there's obviously a blown head gasket or the head in cracked oil and coolant don't just mix unless someone intentionally puts coolant in the oil or the head gasket goes bad or a cracked cylinder head
No part of this video did I say the oil and water are mixing. It was over filled with 14 quarts of oil. Was a super simple fix. Drained to the proper level. New spark plugs and about 20 minutes of run time to clear the exhaust and it was good as new. Well as good as a altima can be

Cloyes is probably the best and this job can take 2-4 hours depending on experience.
@@buildonemore I have a 1.8 ltr civic. It's been getting a cold start rattle for past 45k miles. It does it 7 times out of 10 and only lasts a second long. After that it's ok. tensioner's leaking I guess. at what point would you recommend getting this replaced? and another thank you, this video helps people not get ripped off by repair shops. Most shops told me 8 hours to do this. A few honest ones charge much less, so I was skeptical of them until i saw this. much appreciated
@bill-m2z I'd have it done before it slips. Never hurts to be proactive
2016 C7 Z06 & 2019 C7 ZR1 only 2 American cars, the new Dodge Viper, it's a beast, and the 2025 C8 ZR1 can out perform these street kings. The C8 isn't a vette mid engine ugly they should have called it something else .I had a 2006 C6 tuned 500hp vette. It was enough power for me. I did 180 mph not bad for 2 decades ago.
You and noelin should hit the next cct meet in Tallahassee. Love to see this thing out and maybe take you to Mexico!😉
