I'd recommend selling SEO through other services such as web design as I find it easier to build trust first then sell. Website is something your client can see result right away but SEO takes time and investment. So it's easier to sell this way Finding web design client should not be that hard. You can try joining fb groups, freelancing platforms, or do some cold emails

Core update is still rolling out and I've seen people experiencing situations like this as well. I'd first wait till it finishes and see what happens. Situation like this usually gets resolved on its own. Otherwise will try to find solutions

It's the same. I've worked with them before, no difference. The concepts are the same. For example, you now know how to optimize the title tag or you now know how to optimize h1 For WordPress, you use an SEO plugin to achieve this or perhaps modify your page using the editor. For code based site, you just need to modify the <title> tag in the html or <h1> tag It's the same. Just implementing is difference. So you need to know how to modify your code website. Yes, something need to be taken care of more with code website like implementing canonical tag manually whereas with WordPress, this is automatically done for you by the plugin As long as you know what needs to be done, you just have to implement them accordingly

In another word, google isn't quite sure about your site quality This is the case during big algorithm updates, new website, and in some niches (likely ones that are spammy) There's nothing much to do except to keep on adding quality signals over time, and give google some time to process and evaluate everything

Not if you know how to use them to minimize risks Oh, did I mention that, website that do "proper white hat SEO" are getting hammered by google updates like HCU? So if pbn penalizes websites, other SEO activities aren't no different either

Don't get me wrong, josh's group is one of the main reasons that has helped me get to where I am today. The philosophy, mindset, methodologies and fundamental of testing and laying strong ground of SEO really helped changed how I think and do SEO. Then from there, I continued to test, work on my own method and evolved. I don't know how it is today but when I was there, it was really useful

I'm not sure to be honest as I never check keyword difficulty. But all I know is a lot are dominated by bigger brands with higher authority. So outranking them is surly something. Plus, they are commercial keywords important for the business, so yeah, they do have high cpc

Not really. it hasn't come out yet then why worry? Worrying won't do anything and also, for commercial keywords, it won't really affect that much. Might be for affiliate or informational but again, the money is in commercial keywords.

Something will be relevant. But I'll be honest with you, doing SEO for blogspot is pretty much useless. It's highly likely that it'll rank for anything significant. I recommend get a domain, hosting and set up a WordPress

@@iqzero101 my recommendation is don't. If you can't even pay for the hosting and domain, and you use blogspot, you won't be able to get results, which will demotivate you. It's better to start when you're in a position to afford something. SEO isn't easy and cheap. So you need some budget

I don't see how they both can be connected in terms of rankings. Except if someone clicks from your video to your website, that can be a good signal which helps increase the rankings over time Can't possibly see any negative signal from this

Exactly. And glad my video clarified things for you. Just focus on the service/commercial and location pages and look for a few keywords related to blogs that are relevant in your area should be enough. For example, I see a lot of people search for roofing price in X location. So that's one thing you can create a blog on. In total, I imagine this wouldn't be more than 10 The rest just focus on off-page factors. Don't overcomplicate things :)
