Polyeter webbing at 1" will support 2000+ lbs. 2mm Dyneema will support 600+ lbs on each cord. So at a minimum, these should hold 1200 lbs, according to the tensile strength of the materials used. Not sure why the whimpy rating of only 300 lbs. Any thoughts? I weigh in at 270, hammock is 2.5 lbs total, maybe a phone, battery, charger, water bottle, quilt, clothes, and light, so a total of maybe 280-285? Not a problem. Just curious as the the low weight threshold.

I also ordered the camo one and they sent me the wrong color. It’s not like it’s advertised. Mine is also NOT RIPSTOP nylon. It’s also heavier than they advertise. I sent it back and ordered a different color. The digital. that one was correct color. But it’s still heavier than they say, and it is not ripstop, the company is now called no cry rain fly and maybe that’s why it’s no longer ripstop because the company changed

I just picked these up, haven't taken them out of the package. I've got a 4lb hammock but it has its own straps. I just got the hammock gear dyneema tarp, 400 bucks lol, I'm gomma end up with a thousand bucks in this thing I think. my zpacks douplex only cost 650. but by the time you get your sleep pad and everything trying to stay under two lbs is gonna cost more then that I guess. Just learning myself, these videos really help. I wasted so much money. so thanks for sharing. I understand the statement buy once cry once now. my biggest mistake is titanium cookware. pans never work and pots only to boil water. I know I spent at least 2,000 on that crap that doesn't work

I just got this as a hand me down. Works good. The app I use to connect to it via Wi-Fi is ROADCAM. You can view or download needed videos without removing the card. In my opinion, it's a great setup for Uber, Lyft and taxis because it shows video of the inside of the vehicle.

Can it record a phone interview that one person is call to you phone which is connected from the phone headphones output to the Olympus mic jack and you record yourself through the Aomago external mics into a single audio file while you hearing the incoming call through your headphones? There are no illumination lights on the front camera as it is illegal, same goes for your backup camera, the light are only allowed to power on when in reverse.
