The Met is a stunning, award winning live music venue noted nationally for its specialist folk music programme.
Having recently undergone a multi-million-pound refurbishment, it incorporates two modernised performance spaces, popular dining restaurant Automatic, a variety of events & meetings space, and Edwin Street Creative Hub which includes a Recording Studio.
The Met is also the proud organiser and promoter of Head for the Hills festival welcoming around 12,000 music lovers to Ramsbottom every year.

From the producers of Dick Whittington and Aladdin, The Big Tiny bring their new story of magic, mayhem and above all, true love as Cupid comes to The Met next Christmas. Can she overcome the wicked tricks of Rumpelstiltskin and help Prince Dierdrick find true love?
Deep in the forest in the foothills of the Alps lies the Bavarian town of Lieblingsberg, the town where everyone falls in love. Only they don’t… at least nobody has since Cupid nipped out to the shops twenty years ago.
Whilst love has been away, a new magical creature has settled in Lieblingsberg… a bitter, twisted little man who lives underneath the haunted hollow tree with the cobwebs and spiders and things that go bump in the night. The townsfolk have a name for him: Rumpelstiltskin. And he wants to make a deal.
Rumpelstiltskin is packed full of sensational sets and overflows with holiday cheer and audience participation for all ages.
