Dancing with Creation (Ron Kean)

The Sacramento Master Singers commissioned Ron Kean to compose a new composition. Kean was pleased to write the opening piece of our March 2023 program Songs in the Key of Life celebrating the cycle of life. Ron's piece not only celebrated the birth of a child but also was dedicated to his granddaughter, Margaret Jade.

Thank you!! COVID has made it hard for any of us to be able to say "I lived" during it's pandemic. COVID has kept us from much that life has to offer, keeping us in, covering us up, and distancing our hugs. Thank you for this tribute to all the grads of 2020 who chose to keep moving forward. Their optimism gives us ALL resilience, knowing we all can follow their lead and keep moving forward, adapting and growing! Your singing is uplifting!
I love this!!! Great idea to record in such a beautiful setting, the Sierra Nevada's, our beloved mountains that make any one want to sing!! How on earth did all these formally dressed singers hike up to that area? They do not look out of breath. Looking forward to more of Master's Singers (Sacramento style).
