trailbraking is a skill that is very important in motorsport because it slows down the car and at the same time rotates so that the car has a good entry apex and exit to get a little time out of every curve, the best drivers used it perfectly but know it and it is a big difference because you combine the string theory and the brake because if you let go too early and too fast then the weight and the front will shoot upwards, which gives you understeer in cars with abs you dont want to brake too much to not activate abs so the cars doent stay at 100% brakes in formula cars there are 2 lines one is for not looking up the tires you have no abs but you still want to brake as late as possible and the other line is for rotation, which is always slower than the line for the downforce Did this help?
