Don’t breathe or look to squeeze out even triplets
มุมมอง 6421 วันที่ผ่านมา
Getting those triplets even (as my niece pointed out “aren’t triplets always odd!”) at the beginning of Debussy’s Arabesque #1 is so challenging. Any advice welcome ! (Except the usual TH-cam gatekeeper comment “hey that piece is too hard for you, you will never play it well, just stick with Level 1 stuff”. Can anyone explain this phenomenon?) #debussy #practicepiano #arabesque #focus

@@MAXUTTONpracticing thanks dude ! what were you making ? (And how did it come out )
This was very relaxing to enjoy afternoon decaf to 😊
Appreciate that Heidi ! Need some detoxing after that Sor Hands video on the poor angry guy - but so much wisdom in C’s commentary today

You are so good ❤️
Aw thanks but sadly I’m about to go down a very steep Dunning Kruger wake up call
cool
Now your thumb looks like mine--too close to the bass strings. Wouldn't it be easier to get more accurate with the pinkie if you move your thumb down toward the treble strings?
great observation- thanks for the tip Steve I will totally try that
Not qualified to give technique instruction, but dang it’s cool to see this Short. Good on ya keep them coming! 👏
Thanks Jon! And you are too modest, your LH looks pretty well seasoned! Critique away
Try some exercises leaving your pinky on the fret board. Hard to tell from this short, but looks like your pinky is to far from the fret board.
Definitely spot on, good advice thx

The circle is now complete. @Itsyoboyjy bass magic at 0:45 As before thanks again to @heidi7029 for vocal contribution and improv also thanks to the amazing folks on the various classical guitar Discords for their friendship including encouragement of this nonsense - this was a needed distraction from life’s challenges

At 0:50 both narrators have gone silent, implying that the lemon has now consumed both. The last dying gasp at the close is by the cartoon lemon himself, who now has a stomach ache from the large meal. The irony is that the two narrators were lemons all along.

And to my nieces and nephews and children who have been waiting patiently for the sequel. Requests please for next video topic

Awesome!
Thanks Heidi 😅
sounding pretty good for a rehearsal! thanks for putting this beautiful piece on my radar, I hadn't heard it before now :)
You guys sound great. Good meeting you tonight, Min Soo!
Thanks for that Steve - appreciate you coming - always nice to see you. Looking forward to Thursday Brooklyn open mic - see you then !
Noice Jay
Thanks John 😅
very beautiful ser! Don't take offense to this...but by the title I assume this is just a practice log of where you are at with the piece at this date? Obviously it still needs some work... but WOW, I cann really see what your intentions are with this - your interpretation is inspiring to listen to :)
Appreciate that man ! I didn’t even realize this was public. Yes I’ve progressed in Adelita since this video - LH is much better. RH is still a mess though. You’re the dude who played the Berlioz ? Matt ? I think I met you via Sor Hands channel ?
