Just a simple flower, though with some modifications from a regular pattern. The petals are slightly rectangular rather than rounded. This pattern also ensures a perfect flower with minimal gaps. I didn't cut the tails of the flowers because I'll sew them onto a flower crown - video next week! Update! It's not as hard as it may seem. Aside from holding your teacups, this rose coaster would be perfect for bowls and vases as well. Let me know in the comments if you want to know how to increase the size of the coaster! I used acrylic yarn (DK weight, 8ply) with 3.5mm (6/0) hook. Sc then dc, repeat. I did two rows then switch colour. This is a cardigan I have been working on (with much procrastination) for a few months now.

Ofc you can! Is there a reason why you couldn’t? It takes time at the start to learn but once you get through that rough start, you can crochet lots of things.

I think yarn is affordable if you can control yourself 🙂. Generally craft stores sell yarn - and buy cheap acrylic to start.
