I take every TX upgrade i can get. On my main Xbox account i want every T6X possible on PC i try to stay at the same level, T6X2 only dor my most played characters main ships. In my Free to Play second account i try my best to T6X2 everything. Oh and on Cbox the T6 coupon lock works like on PC.

I hate you've had to go through that. I did similarly when I made the comment on Spencer's post months ago about place to get extra dil, and I go through it when I get falsely accused whenever I'm playing elite. Being a lady, I've seen this behavior from aggressive guys and often in Elite content or in a similar sub culture, that tone, that "I'm right to do whatever I do and you're auto wrong" mentality is wider spread in rhe game it seems. Just goes to show that IDIC or inclusion of different players isn't as generous in STO as it should be....

I'm 69 years old, and I am not prepared to stroke fragile egos. I have over 8000 'zen' in my Star Trek Online account. I tried to get the T6 Typhoon Battleship during the event that offered it, I was desperately hoping to make the event buyout. It was at 2500 zen, I believe. But I had to go into the hospital. It turns out that I was coming down with cervical difficulty. I cried when I realized that the T6 Typhoon Temporal Battleship would get away from me! P.S , Can you tell me the difference between a Battleship and a Battle Cruiser?

For anyone considering the Atlas Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser, I recommend reading my opinion here. Full Transparency, I'm nobody important and there's really no reason for anyone to care what I have to say, but I'm going to say it anyway. If your goal with the Atlas Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser is to get the DPRM Console, I would not recommend using your Free Premium Ship on it. Why? Because the Atlas Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser is actually part of "Mudd's Choice Pack of Dread - Through The Ages" in the Z-Store. Yes you have to spend real money. Yes it's kinda expensive. But because it's bought out of the Store with real money, it is an Account Unlock. You'll own both the Ship and the DPRM that comes with it for your entire Account which means you can use the DPRM with every character on your Account. If you're willing to spend the money, don't use your Free Premium Ship on the Atlas. Just wait for Mudd's Bundles to go on sale and buy the Bundle.

T5 ships are fine, I will not put my nose up to 'em.

one thing to note also i learned a while back, is that doing red alerts are a dang good way to quickly unlock ship masteries for traits

the enterprise J in sto comes from one corridor with a picture in the background so the gal-x coming from a painting isn't that crazy

What STO needs to create another tier class but should be called Admiral legendary tier with unique traits that T6 ships don't have and this time can include your created characters traits alongside your crew traits but will let you have admiral universal, Captain, commander, lieutenant Commander, lieutenant and ensign traits with more advanced armor, hull, Shields and consoles plus a unique mastery trait. The elite upgrade we have used on our crew should give us an advantage and let one member become a Captain after upgrading one for free and after that upgrade that crew member gains a unique Captain trait.

I created my account with Star Trek Online (STO) on May 9th 2012, the same year that this Windows PC game entered the free to play (F2P) market. A lot has changed with the way this game looks and operates today from where it was 15 years ago during the infancy of its development. Tutorials have been revamped for each of the 4 factions. Older missions and story arcs have received quality of life updates as well. Starships have received a fair share of quality-of-life updates to keep them looking as realistic as the newer starships. The GUI uses the familiar LCARS display as seen in Star Trek The Next Generation and Star Trek Voyager. Game graphics have improved considerably since STO initially launched in 2010, 15 years ago this month. I hope that Star Trek Online remains with us for another 15 years as it has brought a lot of joy to Trekkies of all ages and generations. 🖖

This was the first year I finished the event and I was torn. I went with the excelsior ii just because I love the look of that ship.

18:00 there were other comic book ships before this, the Legendary Mirror Gal X is from the IDW Mirror War comic and the Somerville is from a Discovery prequel comic from IDW Bright Eyes the Tholian and J'ula are also from IDW also Prodigy is not a prequel and the Dauntless II is the succesor to the OG Dauntless...it's literally in the name lol Starfleet reverse engineered the Dauntless tech and made their own version of it with the II

I hope it around for a long time But it needs to be fully Engine graphic upgrade to characters and world exploration that to me it lacks .

Some of these ships can be gotten from Mudds bundles. You should include that so people dont waist a ticket on them

Oh, FFS. Get Armada 2 and play it. Its great, especially with the FleetOPS mod.

One thing we haven't had are actors reviving their characters of the Enterprise era and would complete the STO universe , also I would love to see if they would let us kit bash weapons or create a new class of starship in the game or if you failed a mission it would have consequences, it would be cool to have that on the game because that's what STO is missing to make it more interesting., and another thing they would have to come up with some type of universe for Discovery era because it's no longer cannon anymore put it along side the Kelvin timeline as some sort of a branch of the consequences of that timeline.

The one thing i did not like about picard season 3, as in 2401 they were retiring the Enterpise-F, when in STO the Enterpise-F was a BRAND NEW ship in 2409. Matter of fact the whole Ody shipline was brand new in 2409. I remember playing the mission to test the new Ody class ships and it was in 2409 this mission took place. It was NOT a holodeck simulation.

Prior to launch, I was so hyped that I was visiting the STO website almost daily! My PC at the time couldn't play it, and I never got a new PC when it died, but Ive barely missed a day on STO since it came to console in 2016.

That would have been a world class plot twist. "Thank GOD you're here!"

Yah, the ground combat can kiss my ass, but anything to do with space and spaceships in this game is still epic! Blowing up every ship that looks at you funny might not be very Starfleet, but man it never gets boring!

If the game was really concerned with "equity" or Marxism... they'd stop the lockbox nonsense and give ALL PLAYERS ACCESS TO THE SHIPS THEY WANT TO PLAY! Funny how THAT isn't happening...

Star Trek online came out in 2010 first two years were subscriber only privilege to play

1.) If you're making a TV show why bother to pay someone to design a new ship when you can just borrow pre-existing ones from a video game. 🤣 2.) STO does make some pretty ships.
