One book that really changed my perspective was Ibn al Qayyim on Divine Wisdom and the Problem of Evil. It explains really well how everything that is evil or bad happens but ultimately results in the best consequences. It definitely serves as reassurance for anyone going through a hard time because it reminds us that Allah is the Best of Planners. Insha'Allah this channel grows soon, any Muslim would be able to benefit from these types of videos

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.” [Abu Dawud].

Ubay ibn Ka’ab narrated: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُكْثِرُ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيْكَ فَكَمْ أَجْعَلُ لَكَ مِنْ صَلَاتِي؟ فَقَالَ: مَا شِئْتَ. قَالَ قُلْتُ الرُبُعَ؟ قَالَ: مَا شِئْتَ فَإِنْ زِدْتَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ. قُلْتُ النِّصْفَ؟ قَالَ: مَا شِئْتَ فَإِنْ زِدْتَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ. قَالَ قُلْتُ فَالثُّلُثَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: مَا شِئْتَ فَإِنْ زِدْتَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ. قُلْتُ أَجْعَلُ لَكَ صَلَاتِي كُلَّهَا؟ قَالَ: إِذًا تُكْفَى هَمَّكَ وَيُغْفَرُ لَكَ ذَنْبُكَ “ O Messenger of Allah, I frequently invoke Allah to send Selawat upon you. How much of my supplication should I devote to you (Selawat)?” He said, “You may devote as much as you wish.” When I suggested “a quarter”, he said, “Do whatever you wish, but it will be better for you if you increase it.” I suggested “a half”, he replied, “Do whatever you wish, but it will be better for you if you increase it.” I suggested “two-thirds”, he then said, “Do whatever you wish but it will be better for you if you increase it.” I said, “Shall I devote all my supplications to send Selawat upon you?” He said, “Then you will be freed from your worries and your sins will be forgiven.”

O Allaah, send Your salaah (grace, honour and mercy) upon Muhammad and upon his wives and offspring, as You sent Your salaah upon Ibraaheem, and send Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon his wives and offspring, as You sent Your blessings upon the family of Ibraaheem. You are indeed Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.

Surat al mulk : it is good to read it every night before going to sleep : The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'It is the defender, it is the deliverer - it delivers from the punishment of the grave.

Life is a test. There would be no good without the existence of evil. I always find the “problem of evil” being used as an argument against Islam or religion/theism in general to be a paradox. How would you know what good is without experiencing evil? It’s an emotional argument non muslims go for, but like you said, hardship does bring us closer to God. It is only him we ask for help. I would rather be challenged in this world than be forgotten in this one and the next. This is also why reverts will often say that their lives start from the day they become muslims, as they notice their lives begin to change as they’re afflicted with trials. Nonetheless, what we would consider to be “bad” could be saving us from worse, we do not have the full picture; it could have been the best case scenario. Al hamdoulillah for everything, we are not omniscient beings. I love your videos, May Allah reward you and May we meet in Jannah.

I was facing a motoring fine recently. It was almost certain that I would be losing this case. But I went to tribunal as I didnt have anything to lose - expecting to lose. I made a pledge to Allah. If I win this case, I will give all the money I would have paid to charity. I made that firm commitment and intention to do so. I can only say this was just miraculous, but I was talking about this case online and a English guy whose a returned lawyer who just had a lot of free time, just volunteered to help me, He reached out to me and said I think I can help you, just cover my travel cost to London tribunals and I will represent you. At the day of the hearing, I met up with him for the first time and we spoke and he said to me the abrator that I was assigned for the case is the most leniant and driver-friendly judge they have. it's a very small thing, when I tell people this story, they're not moved by it. But I honestly believe it was because of the pledge I made, that the victory was handed to me. I gave the amount I would have paid in the fine to gaza and other charities. I believe you need to have good intention for the results of your endeabvours, make sincere pledge that if you meet your business milestones you will donate sadaqah, you will be more dutifuul to your prayers and strive to be closer with your prayers and truly intend it. Allah will not give you financial success if Allah knows you will just let the money get to your head and move away from Allah.
