Kasabian - Live from Leicester, 2011
Music video by Kasabian performing Rewired (VEVO Presents: Kasabian - Live from Leicester). © 2011 Columbia Records
I feel like the time has come
A fearless rescue from everyone
Who made you the master?
The lady caster, I found you looking for a good time
I was out in exile perfecting my style
I knew you wanted a reaction
Hit me!
Harder!
I'm getting re-wired
I flip the switch that make you feel electric
Even!
Faster!
Than before
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
Try to keep up, you scatter brain
She will enter through your vein
Who was your creator?
The one who made you, the flame I need to heat the silver
You'd bring Gods to their knees pick out the bad seeds
Relieve the generals of theirs duties
Hit me! Harder! I'm getting re-wired
I flip the switch that make you feel electric
Even! Faster! Than before
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
Who made you the master?
The Lady caster, I found you looking for a good time
Now this blood and glitter, it tastes so bitter
There's no retreat for I surrender
Hit me!
Harder!
I'm getting re-wired
I flip the switch that make you feel electric
Even!
Faster!
Than before
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
I'm gonna light 'em up with you

It is really sad it took so long for Peter to get his SBT. He'd have been a great contributor to the Rock Renaissance in the 90's.

Playing guitar is like riding a bike. I have gone years without playing guitar and when I pick it up again it all comes straight back instantly. In my early mid teens to late teens I would muck about on my guitar for hours a day. You never forget. The muscle memory and the musical knowledge never disappears.

@@Greenypeter It seems that Peter lost a lot of years of his life because of those tranquilisers. I wonder if they hadn't put him on those if he would have gotten a lot closer to being his old self while he was still young.

@@bigbasil1908 More than likely yes, he would have been less overweight, you can climb down on them some people on them become scared to lower them not knowing if their brain had improved. They just put you at peace for a while and that's maybe all you need a year of it.

Hundreds of thousands around the world? Even in 1997 I am sure there were literally millions of people who loved Peter Greens music at that time. 12:27 . And now you can buy greeny replica guitars from Gibson, Epiphone and of course the Chinese made greeny guitars which are commonly known as Chibsons. Even she underestimated how much Peter was loved.

I did LSD a fair few times in my youth. One time I took acid and fell asleep before I came up and was monged out for 3 whole days. I kept telling myself I would get back to normal and I did. Fk that man made stuff. I have never had a bad deal with liberty cap mushrooms and I have taken them so many times through my life. Stick to the natural. I have had an ego death trip on mushrooms where i literally felt the process of death which was both terrifying and amazing one night and I passed through the veil and was still alive. And then in an instant I snapped back to reality fully. It was a right of passage and I am so glad I experienced it. It showed me not to be afraid of death and I am not afraid of dying. I cannot say that I have ever had a bad trip from mushrooms. Stick to the natural things peeps, the synthetic ones whilst maybe being fun are no good. The real God aint gonna fck you over.

Peters blues transcended the whole black and white thing. I know the best of the best black blues players loved and admired Peter Greenbaum.

  • @bigbasil1908
    @bigbasil1908 หลายเดือนก่อน

Seems like the tranqs caused far more damage than the LSD. Peter Greenbaum love you man where ever you are now. I can relate to you mate. I never thought of you as a mad man. I understand that you didn't want the fame and fortune, much like Syd (Roger) Barrett. Most people can't get their head around that, because most people are materialist and brainwashed. I have become like a hermit and I don't care what anyone else thinks. My body is knackered out and my mind isn't far behind. I never cared about money or material bs though I do like tools and i like musical instruments and I kind of like to sing from time to time alone. I never cared enough about anything to write a song about it, and I can't write a song unless my heart is truly into it. I am typing to a ghost now, but I know you are not really gone - we are all forever alive within the times we lived in. Your music lives on and it was some really good music. I'll meet up with you in the afterlife mate and maybe we can play and sing some music together. I won't be too long, though I know in the afterlife there is no time. I would love to jam with you with Green Manalishi and perhaps Black Magic Woman. See you on the other side Brother.

Personally speaking, i have had the psychotic medication albeit wrongly diagnosed with (ADHD), anyone in the 70s, 80s, people got ECT which shatters the brain cells. People end up doing the talking for you, much like that Michelle (Mitch) Reynolds, who seems to think she rescued him. Believe me, the brain can recover from terrible damage, with the right vitamins, especially Vitamin B1 Thiamine. Anyone on a whopping dose of Antipsychotic, just don't keep your doses amazingly high and get the right nutrition in you. I think a lot of people hold people like Syd Barrett etc in massive regard because he crashed and burned, but most amazingly talented people either die early or end either broken or just not reaching the talent they once did to the demand put upon them. RIP to Peter Green, however the greatest guitarist i have ever seen and probably ever will.

I wonder if the same scientist or cocktail was used to make musicians like Sid Barrett, Brian Wilson, Skip Spence and Danny Kirwan go nuts 🤷🏽‍♂️ Precisely why doing drugs is extremely harmful and have killed and harmed too many talented musicians ✌🏻♥️

I think it was his personality every genius is flawed fact, the either die young or end up severely mentally ill. Like me! (Joke Kinda) But take a look at every single person with any talent they have something wrong going on. I'm lucky i have ADHD, you don't want to chip away too much at the old head to get to where i got was difficult and that turned out it was ADHD. Peter probably had something bubbling up under the surface.
