cs2 is poo. cs beta 6 was the best. the hl mod scene was crazy. the servers were crammed. when it went retail it wasn't quite the same again.

they should make a toggle option in the audio settings to enable classic UI sounds for buying and shit. I miss the old source sounds so much lol.

You completely forgot Action Quake and Aqtion which came before the Half-life mod, Just like Teamfortress it started off as a mod for Quake, got ported to Half-life, And then became a standalone game franchise after being hired by Valve.

i played css for a few thousand hours ten years ago but then came cs go and i lost the ability to choose a server...that was the end of cs for me. cs 2 is just like fortnite and there is no fun without rpg,surf,aim,dm and zombie mod servers. i bought 2 gaming pcs in hope i will find my love to play again but i cant handle these games where you cant decide what map you want. im sitting next to my rtx 4060 pc i use to write mails that hurts. fuck the dude who stole all the servers

CS 1.5 for me was peak original, CS:S in 2005 had THE most amazing custom map scene, CS:GO was amazing when Valve used to do player made map packs and CS2 has just always sucked.

вы не понимаете суть CS 1.0! чтобы запустить игру вам надо было мануально, с помощью кодов вводить команды, чтобы загрузить игроков и ботов и еще массу всего, типа гравитации и IQ ботов! а чтобы поиграть с другом, который был на другом конце города, нужно было еще модем настроить! это была жизнь, а не просто игра!
