Destiny 1's music just had a different feel to it altogether. I don't know what it is, and I can't quite figure it out. Maybe it's the difference in game direction, maybe it's Marty's Musical Magic, but whatever it is... it's the best, and it's how Destiny should sound. I miss it.

Nothing in the world takes me back to that time of my life like this game and its soundtrack. Thank you.

Wow! This is really awesome, feels a little like an alternative Destiny, even if it uses mostly the same OSTs. "In a Time to Come" certainly makes me wonder where it would have been used in the base game... Great work!

I think it’s awesome seeing who was involved in each track. Haven’t even heard of Johnson before now (lack of time in vidocs ect) so it’s cool to see someone produced some of my favourite tracks that I didn’t even know about. Ik of the other 4 thou because they’re all been in vidocs. This is an amazing rendition of the soundtrack btw. Definately provides more of the tracks I like anyway.

Ever since Music of the Spheres was released, I've kinda found the D1 soundtrack album unlistenable as 1/4 of the tracks are "wasted" on MotS excerpts that I would rather just hear in MotS itself, and also certain hallmark tracks like "House of Kings" weren't there. So I took it upon myself to edit together my own take on the album, featuring some uncut tracks, some alternate versions of tracks, and some tracks that I personally wanted to be on there. It was kind of hard to fill in for 44 tracks without redundant stuff or without including obscure tracks that weren't actually in the game, but I still think tracks like "Ocean of Storms" and "The Cosmodrome" are very memorable from playing the game so I thought they should be on here. Some tracks were remade from scratch using the same sample libraries, such as The Stranger and Traveler's Promise. For the latter, we recreated the "full" track from the reprise but with the "soundfont" of the original, so it's kinda "both" the original and the reprise. In a Time to Come is a D1 edit of "After All This Time" from Destiny 2: The Final Shape, as that track was originally written for D1 Vanilla and just didn't have the extra melodies. You could hear it in multiple D1 marketing videos, so I kinda figured if Untold Legends could be there why couldn't that. I almost put in 2 more tracks from later releases that were also cut D1 tracks, but it felt more redundant as they were exactly what was in the later albums. I hope you guys enjoy this. I went out of my way to make sure this had a logical progression of tracks, and I also made sure it still fit on 2 discs like every other Bungie soundtrack. -Atlyx
