omg I was soso happy to see this pop up in my recommended!! there arent that many longform videos on Jojifuku in general but TH-cam as well, so I dont see too much too often which can be sucky; ive always admired and wanted to indulge in kawaii fashion since I was about 7 years old (wanted to dress like a princess because I loved lolita and himegyaru lol) but for about 4 years now and umpteenth Ive been indulging in Jojifuku!! as someone who is younger and attempting to obtain this style slowly, do you have any tips? or specific places/brands you heavily main buying from? or regret buying from? please lmk if you have the time <3c:
@@AnAvianicBeing omg I’m so happy you found this video! I have bought most of my pieces from depop. Japan mercari is where it’s at too. I’ve seen sm mezzo piano and other jfashion or jojifuku clothes sell for 5-20 bucks on there. Ofc shipping adds up and it can be confusing but it’s def a great option. Depop or vinted are probably the easiest option tho. Find Tik toks that give keywords for depop and mercari to find the cute stuff! I found a lot of stuff in thrift stores. Look at them and imagine how much you could style it or fit it into ur wardrobe so you don’t buy things you’ll only wear once. Upcycling them is a great way to personalize items too.If ur old enough to get a job, you should bc that’s how I was able to buy a lot of my wardrobe. You should make sure to budget too bc it’s very easy to see everyone else do hauls and it can make you want to buy a lot to build up ur wardrobe right away. But make sure to be a smart consumer, it helps in the long run ^_^ if ur not old enough, maybe babysit, dog walk, sell on depop (it’s not that hard tbh) and find other ways to make money. Just make sure not to buy from fast fashion sites like shien or romwe. Especially with Lolita fashion. Lolita is slow fashion, that takes people years to build up. Focus on main pieces that could go with many other things in ur wardrobe. Accessories help a lot too. Claire’s has sm kawaii accessories. Irl stores have some cute clothes too in the kids section, just find the biggest sizes. Sorry if this long, I hope this helped at least a little ^_^

@@btrute Aw thank you! It’s a Japanese fashion style based around dressing like a girl to feel that childhood spark again ^^ it does have a dark side to it but most people are into it just for the pure cuteness and nostalgia it gives them :3
