@nycolombian91 The Ahmadiyya movement in Islam is an organization that was created in preparation for the age of the Anti-christ. We are not a new movement but an organization that has created the scaffolding necessary to support the Re-institution of Khilafat. We are not bringing anything new,This organization helps to reestablish the caliphate that was lost in 1924, as promised from Allah that revival of islam would originate from the Promised Messiah.

@ChrisRenucci also an an ironic note, try this experiment, find verses of quran that people say support "holy war" and see if the online audio clip of that verse says "Qatal" or "jihad" you will be surprised many of the verses people quote that are "jihad" verses don't even have the word jihad in them.

@ChrisRenucci yea I agree, but jihad was never abandoned. Jihad exists today in the higher level form of Jihad which is evident in the use of jihadun in the quran for "struggling in the way of Allah" or struggling to remain righteous.

The islamic religious movements ahmadiyya and alevism are both, even if different, very peaceful, progressive and open minded. One example is, that both movements allow to change the religion, which is impossible in shia islam and sunnism. Another example is that jihad is seen as a leftovers from ancient times. But at the end, its not important which islamic movement or religion or atheism you believe in, what counts is your heart, being a good human.

Br. Saleem Muhaimin is one of my favorite Ahmadi Muslims. Very humble, peaceful man. Always lends a listening ear and a comforting word and a contagious laugh. May Allah keep him young at heart inshallah!
