I, similar to you had very little experience in crossfit. it took me 3 days of trying 24.1 wearing a 20lb vest to get a qualifying time of 14:02 without it lol and honestly the challenge got me hooked. I hope you continue!
You did this workout WITH A 20LB VEST 😮💨👏🏽 good job! It was intense as is! I didn’t do the 24.2 because I don’t have a rower in my home gym. But if the other workouts are very intro to CrossFit I’ll give it a try. It was a good challenge!
Good effort, that is a challenging workout, especially if you've never tried dumbbell snatches before! You can gain more efficiency in the dumbbell snatch by thinking about it more like a barbell snatch, using your posterior chain to do most of the work. Your arms are really just there to guide the dumbbell overhead using the momentum created by the hips. And yes, we do these types of workouts everyday at CrossFit.

Just came across your video. Good work! That was a really hard workout, it’s pure cardio with nowhere to hide. There are three versions of the workout Rx/Scaled and Foundations. Looks like you did the Foundations version. The biggest difference besides the weight of the db is that in Rx or Scaled you have to jump over the dumbbell as part of the burpee. That makes it even worse. Hopefully you try 24.2!
I did read that you have to jump over the dumbbell but it was a little too late for that 🙈 and honestly idk if I would have been able to finish it all had I jumped 🤣. Thanks for your feedback!

I'm going to assume you are referencing that she didn't burpee over the dumbbell, which is not a requirement for Foundations workout.
I know 🙈 but it’s ok I was doing this just for fun and to try something different. I didn’t plan on submitting my score so it doesn’t really matter ☺️
