I hired this company to take away what was still decent but used furniture. What surprised me was I had thought the stuff I was giving away was going to be donated perhaps to charity or to some other worthy humanitarian cause, instead the sofa, glass dining table and padded chairs, the bed (less than 2 years old) and other pieces of furniture were all tossed out and/or smashed up into pieces and tossed into the back of their trucks!! In a sense, my donations I had paid them to haul away, was treated like JUNK 😧😠😡

@1800 got junk I applied multiple times, and I know I have the qualifications, but NEVER!!!! got hired.😢

they pay minimum wage and say you can make more with how many jobs you get in one day and how full the truck is. not worth it. job is ment as part time. your gona bust balls for peanuts

What they don't tell you, is that they don't offer benefits!!! You get paid weekly, but nothing else!! Back breaking type work! These videos are from people paid to be in them. You get sent home early if it's slow, it's a job for young kids in their twenties, who are still on their parents insurance, and don't care about anything else.

Yo my boy as a former worker, we overcharge the customers and the office over works us to boost their monthly bonus.

I work in Moving for 2 years and man Got Junk Job looks way easier than Moving Job. Like you don't need to wrap and unwrapp stuff, No need to carefully unload stuff to a house, apartment, hotel etc. No need to pack the truck carefully to not damage items etc..... It doesn't look that stressful compared to Moving Job where if you break something the customers gonna kill you 😆.

I apologize for venting here, because "Chris" and his story habe nothing to do with his employer's advertisements, but I came here to TH-cam to track down the people responsible for the ghastly advertising that airs for this company, but they've wisely disabled comments on the commercials. If I hear, "And that's when they all start dancing!" ONE MORE TIME, I'm mounting a one man, 1 million bot smear campaign on social media. Please, talk some sense into your CEO. NEVER DO YOUR OWN ADS. Hahahah that’s my line u gotta think Tetris when u packing the truck.I work with 1-800-Got-Junk for a year & a half now & I love my job especially when u get to keep the things that customers don’t want to keep & my god the things they toss & don’t want anymore.

1-800 got junk rips people off. They don’t break down large closets , large bookcases so that they can charge full truck load by just removing few items. I own my junk removal business and I break down, cabinets, closets, shelves down flat so that the truck fits more. Folks support your local junk haulers. Do not waste your money on 1-800-got junk!!!

This definitely seems nice. I feel like a laundry/shower would be a necessity with this job, would not want to get in my POV after cleaning out a hoarder house.
