Working out of my humble shed, I hope to transform it into a comfortable environment in which to take on my many projects . I wish to expand my knowledge and inspire others to get out there and make and create.
No 3 Scrub plane conversion
Converting a No 3 bench plane into a scrub I finally found out if it was worth it.

Hand Plane restoration No 6 Stanley

Restoring my great grandfathers no. 6 fore plane
Very inspirational, I have a small, shared workspace and being economical with space is extremely important. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching.
First one to use ball bearings on the swivel. Top man. Has anyone designed a swivel arrangement which rotates 2 horizontal tables. ? Like the big wheel at a fairground or a rotating arm with a self levelling platform each end which keeps the tool upright and can still be double stacked. Next is the dust extraction.
I think the bearings keep it way more accurate and give it a way more positive location. Dust extraction on my chop saw has been a challenge.
I luv the design
Thankyou.
I like that man the things we for our daughters , And you taught me a thing or two also. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching, got to look after our girls.
I like your little tenon jig. And your tool cabinet. I will probably not make a tool cabinet as nice as yours, but I will make that tenon jig.
Awesome stuff, enjoy. Thanks.
I make cabinets and toolboxes from wood, only with hand tools, manually, look at !!!
I can't stand the way rob cosman speaks, so thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching.
effettivamente un progetto utilissimo e ben fatto... quasi quasi provo a farlo... molto utile visto il sempre poco spazio a disposizione..
Thankyou, much appreciated.
A nice combination of low cost material and quality joinery techniques 👍
Thanks mate.
Well done mate, that looks awesome. Must have been very satisfying.
Most certainly is, thanks for watching.
Love this idea! Great job!
Thanks mate.
I’ve just found your channel RJ, and I love the way you explain things - thank you!
Thanks champ.
The gas struts and magnets were genius! Love it!
Thanks mate.
May be the best flip cart I've seen on TH-cam
Wow thanks mate.
I sure wish you had plans available.
I wish I had the ability to do a plan. Thanks for watching.
The best I ever seen 👍👍
Thanks mate.
Thanks for walking through the RC method. I've watched his videos a few times and going to start my journey. Well done!
Thanks and enjoy dovetailing, be aware it is addictive.
I'm getting ready to build one of these. I'll need to remember to use the snotty goop!! :) Well done!!
Thanks .All great craftsman use good quality snotty goop.
Mint job there fella I’d say it’s up there with Robs dovetails
Oh thanks , that's a massive compliment, my head just may explode.
There is only one thing missing on this stand. And that is a place to store that stop block. I know that I would end up loosing it within minutes of switching over to planer mode. Just need a short section of t-track to put it on that is out of the way. Thanks for all the ideas.
Yes it has since been addressed. Thanks .
Brother I’ve been plodding through these folding outfeed table builds for seemingly EVER trying to find one that used gas struts like I plan on doing. THANK YOU! The hinge solution is what I’ve been looking for!
Enjoy mate, awesome to share.
Awesome Cabinet. Thanks for sharing
Thanks heaps for watching.
That's the biggest burr I've seen so far
Only for the camera, Thanks for watching.
Great build… most of all I like the automatic latching system for the flip top! I’m about to improve my workbench which includes a flip top mitre saw station, and I’ll definitely be copying that 😊😊
Nice, hope it all works out for you.
That was great, you did a brilliant job for the 'boss'. I did smile when she gave you that hug, priceless!
Thanks, its great doing projects for family.
Einen Daumen hoch. Aus Deutschland.
Like how every one has leftovers plywood laying around. With the price of plywood being so high it’s hard to buy it.
Its not cheap at all. Thanks for watching.
Looks great. Way to go.
Thanks mate.
Do you have any experience on how the plane iron edge compares using the DMT 8000 grit extra extra fine versus an 8000 grit water stone?
Yes, for sure the water stone gives the appearance of a more mirrored finish, and the diamond plate a more dull appearance. I quickly strop so that equals that. Cutting performance is exactly the same. So the advantage is I don't have to flatten the stone and soak it.
Did you just start building or did you have a plan and cut list? If so would you mind sharing?
Started building with some very basic sketching as I went.
"My safety is of most importance so I tested it with a small child." After hearing that I subscribed. It's nice to hear such clear instructions with a sense of humor.
Thanks champ.
Very well done.
Thanks mate.
Man you are talented and funny x
Thanks champ.
They are always the best projects something simple that brings a smile to their face and to know they will remember that you made it for them.
Its very satisfying making something for anyone that appreciates it. Thanks for watching.
Nice video. Nice to see one from you. I'm still using the mortise and tenon jig. It does a great job on guiding the saw for the tenon too.
Thanks mate, glad to hear.
As always your videos are a joy to watch.
Thanks heaps.
Nice. I like it. being I don't have all the tools I want, this allows for easy expansion. Good idea!
Thanks mate, its working out nicely for me.
One of the best I’ve seen. Good job
Thanks heaps, glad you enjoyed it.
Very nice work
Thanks mate.
Like a budgy I can watch these thing go round and round……..😂😂😂😂
Things that spin crab my attention, thanks for watching.
Wow, you did an excellent job. Great build, video quality, and humor. Keep it up.
Thanks champ.
Nice job. I want to build a folding outfeed table. My issue is that I currently have a contractor saw. The motor sticks out in the back. I'll need a second to clear the motor, and then a hinged outfeed table.
Thanks for watching, maybe you can extend the table and then hinge of that. good luck.
This will likely be the last tool cabinet video I watch as I believe your design will suit my needs perfectly. The French cleats provide the versatility for tool placement that other designs have lacked. Very nicely done
Thanks, its really working out well.
Nice build!! You gave me some inspiration to start building my own. Going to use it for my miter saw fold away and nothing on the other side. Dont have that many machines yet and could use it as an extension table when its all flat at the top. :) Haha, was just about to ask if you had shares in a screw manufacturing company, when you noted yourself you drilled way too many holes :) Love the Jorgeson clamps btw.. Here in Netherlands I could only buy the maller 300/50mm ones. Hope the larger ones will be available one day. Very good and practicle clamps!
So glad it helped out. let us know how your build turns out.
This storage, holder was just what I was looking for. Why design something when someone has done it for you. Thanks The magnets are the magic buttons for me. I like magnets and have too many plates, I can use both sides.

They have a range of products, including Mushrooms, Dmt, Lsd, and more. The best part? They ship to all locations ❤️
Thanks, its been a great set up to use, enjoy.
An absolute awesome job on this project!
Thanks champ.
Hi mate, what angle do you use for the bevel?
45 champ, thanks for watching.
Can you share what grits on the Diamond Plates for your sharpening station?
DMT stones. Corse, Fine, Extra Fine, Extra Extra Fine. 400, 600, 1200, 8000 grit.
MDF can have a bad rep but for affordable projects that are going to be painted they can come out pretty awesome and it is very easy to cut. With good techniques like you demonstrated then projects can come out fairly strong. Very nice end result and a wardrobe your daughter can be proud of!
Thanks. Nothing wrong with MDF when painted.
@@RJsShedShop Very true! I am finishing a MDF screen riser at the moment for a desk. The surface is starting to feel smooth as glass and it shines like a new car! It does take time and patience to get a great finish but its worth it
Enjoy the build champ.@@user-bt5qt9pp4x
good job Mate
Thanks champ.
