Hi! I saw a few weeks ago some shorts from AdviceWithErin (www.youtube.com/@AdviceWithErinwhere) she was talking about why finding a new job feels too hard and I wanted to make a similar video as well where I talk about this matter. I research online, made some introspection and also ask my colleges that work in Talent Acquisition and here are some of the reasons why it's so hard to land a job ...

Glad it helped!
Expressive Nice to understand
Thank you! 😄
TH-cam recommended me one of your videos, you post awesome stuff Btw, I was wondering do you guys need a video editor and thumbnail designer who works specifically Can I help you with that? LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO SEE MY WORK SAMPLES!
Hi! Thank you for your feedback and kind offer. I created this channel as a personal passion project, and since I don’t make any money from it, I don’t currently have the means to pay for your work. However, if anything changes, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Fantastic! Thank you so much for that!!
Thank you! 🙌
So sad to hear those were your first experiences: I have heard many people say the same about totally overblown interview panels for very basic skill level jobs. Be nice to see you talk about the really bad one too ! Regards ...
Thanks for explaining these phrases precisely Cornelia ! 😊 Much appreciated 👍
Glad it was helpful!
@@Cornelia98404 Yes particularly because when you go for a job interview you never think that it is the interviewer who is on the back foot as much as you are yourself. You need money and a career opportunity, but they need you to **succeed** and listening to you, that has become easier to keep in mind.
how you get 60k+ inmails ?
first I have to check my playback speed
Exactly what I did thinking I left it on 1.5x
Hi! Thank you for your feedback, getting feedback is the only way to improve myself. I will admit I am not the best video editor 😅 but I am trying to get better at it.
4:30 Too right! My free time is for me
So true!
Thanks again for the interesting video Cornelia, lots of useful points for further thought. One comment though : the fallacies part is difficult to separate out into clear cut components since emotional reasoning has a "logic" all of its own (for example how do we define "correctness"?). What might seem logically correct and clear in local scope will often have negative consequences globally (in space and time) because (as you were explaining in the erroneous thinking part) the necessary definitions are incomplete. I'd venture that these ideas work for the local scope but one cannot extend them blindly (like any finite theory).
Thank you for summarising all those really important details Cornelia. It's good not to get lost in the woods and keep to exactly what you need to know. It would be good if you did a video expanding on "negotiation strategies" since it is interesting to understand what tangible aims different strategies connected to the same salary are geared towards.
Hi! Thank you for your idea, here is the video th-cam.com/video/L6Cuwg5axpg/w-d-xo.html
@@Cornelia98404 Ciao Cornelia! That was my pleasure and I am glad you found the suggestion useful - I will be sure to go watch it and give you feedback :)
Thank you for the tutorial, it was very good
Thank you for the video is the most complete here in youtube.
Thank you!
Thanks
how much is the cost of the recruiter lite per month plus taxes? I'm planning to avail.
Thank you for taking the time to put this together!
I really like this video part 1 too. are you using recruiter or recruiter lite?
just recruiter
shit
About the issue of the interview process and getting the job after a month or two as a red flag, what if the quantum of applicants is in the hundreds? Will an excuse of these large applications suffice?
Hi! I was referring to the situation when you had already been contacted by a recruiter/representative of that company, so from the first call/contact from the company until they send you the offer.
i got CJ vibes from your vlog
I’m going to say this is extremely detailed and gives adequate context from the viewpoint of HR but here’s the issue. It shows me that the employer is above the employee, such as when she mentions the interviewee wasting her time, when arguably you could say they (the company) are wasting the interviewees time by not wanting to hire them. However my criticisms are more nuanced than can be summed up in a TH-cam comment. tl;dr all of these points mentioned are red flags about the company from the employees perspective.
If the company makes me do a job interview with an HR person who knows nothing about the job I'm applying for or the recruiter starts asking gotcha-questions or playing similar childish games, that tells me the company is not going to make it. I would literally just stop the interview and walk out at the first sign of these red flags.
That's not all. It also indicates that problems happen around you. That you might actually be the problem. They can only confirm this by either asking around or hiring you, and they might not be willing to do either.
Thank you . I'm sure after 3 years you'll have 1 million subscribers
