Salvation's Edge Raid - Coordinated Efforts (Witness) Master Challenge
Well, we finished it.
This took us much longer than Verity. But we also had four people who had never done the hand breaking before this (not the optimal time to learn, of course). They did well, but after a bit of time, we had to cycle out. Despite our clan members doing great, time restrictions forced us to use the Team Finder function, which was very pleasant. Two of the six guardians we had for this completion were from Team Finder.

00:00-03:16 - First Cycle and DPS
03:17 -07:37 - Second Cycle and DPS
07:38-10:05 - Third Cycle and DPS
10:06-10:35 - Final Stand
10:36-11:21 - Relief
After finally getting this done, here is what I could throw in for advice:
Warlocks with the speaker helmet are a gem here. Constant restoration and orb generation are lifesavers. We only used one speaker helmet here, but two may have been more optimal.
Still Hunt, even after the nerf, is still the DPS choice of snipers, and the additional mods help out from the artifact. Whisper is great... However, that is a much safer strategy to use on normal runs.
You have a lot more time than you're likely giving yourself. We did have a lot of close calls in earlier runs, but survivability is the name of the game. Smart ad clear, and having everyone take out a single subjugator at a time after DPS was the best thing we could do here.
Plan for a three-phase unless you are stacked with Hunters to send in two. We had optimal DPS in earlier phases, but the ammo economy is where we missed the mark.
If you have a Titan, have them put a barricade up on the left side of the platform during DPS as the platform is rising. We wiped during the final stand twice due to suspension from the subjugator.
Square resonance and Triangle resonance are buggy if you're trying to get them while on stairs. When trying to get these buffs, try to be on a level surface or the most level surface.
That's about it. This was rough and probably the most frustrating for the team. But overall, it's not the hardest challenge in Destiny by a long shot or annoying (Queue Warpriest Master Challenge).

This one was pretty straightforward... Do not pick up the same shape twice. How my team did it per role: Closer Guardians: Identify what symbol you need to close on your plate. Super fun, super easy. Start encounter, kill tormentors, spawn in the resonance, then let it fail. Kill subjugators, pick up resonance, and then have the conduit closers swap positions to close their plates down. Deposit in the box, kill unstoppable, repeat. Pay attention to the conduit pathing in rooms 2 and 3, as they will cross over.

Sub 20 minute run... Not bad for not running the dungeon in a long time. I definitely got lost finding the symbols before the final encounter. You know you can call out and still do damage right?
Well of course haha. But if we intend on doing a 3-Phase anyways, no harm in playing safe while the actual damage dealing people can solely focus on that.
That was SO stressful!

i launched Crota off the map twice in a matter of 20 minutes and he just re spawned, did this get shadow patched?
this glitch is either patched or im doing something wrong, he's hit the void like 5 times to just respawn
Man every video I watch makes this shit look so easy yet I been trying for 3 days and couldn’t get crota over the edge even once. I get him to hop about 2-3ft off the ground and that’s it. Get maybe 1-2 finishers off before him and whatever knights are left turn and all sword me while I’m invis and insta kill me.
I kept running into this as well… These videos only show the successful attempt, not the number before. This attempt wasn’t long altogether, but the attempt before where I wasn’t able to do it I spent about an hour or so.
Can yall stop posting this trash, everyone has done it. Do it without a finisher nerd

I can only attest to the Scythe finisher from season of the haunted and the Valkyrie finisher from Season of the Chosen… I haven’t tried other finishers to confirm.
Despite "Challenge Failed" popping up, it will still complete the challenge. **This does still work as of the most recent patch**. A more consistent method is to line Crota up like you're kicking a fieldgoal and finish a knight behind him.

I couldn’t say if so since the challenge wants you to use 3 swords at once to break shield… but I imagine that this would bypass it / as well as the expunge per cycle challenge as well since it kills immediately

Good to see the little boink hammer is still the most OP thing in the game 😅
As you can see, when everything does come together, DPS is pretty forgiving. This was probably one of the worst 1st DPS cycles I had, but was able to make it up in the 2nd DPS. Also, aside from Colossus being super annoying, I was able to use them in between Invis to get myself launched across the map at key points where I may not have made it across.

1st attempt?
So this was our 4th I believe. We didn't utilise the now patched OOB during the jumping area the first 3 times... But we had simple mistakes happen like boss stomp on the third encounter, and in the last during damage when Taniks blows everyone out... Sometimes someone would get launched off the map haha. OOB was more of a time save rather than everyone pacing themselves in the jumping area... In the off chance of something happening, saving 5-10 minutes on jumping puzzle was our cushion to be like "Alright, we'll go again since that didn't take long". :P
