So amazing ❤
Please help. I scrubbed my rug instead of blotting. The rug in that area is now frayed. What do I do to make it look like the rest of the rug .
It is very difficult to tell without seeing it. But if it is fraying at the edge then it has to be secured otherwise the rug will gradually start unravelling in that area
Thank you for your response.

How to get antique work?? I have a firm & work antique
I am not sure what you are asking for
Start investing your wealth in old stuff!
Nice,i would be bleeding all over the carpet
Rug Name
It's from Khamseh tribe in Fars province of Iran
How to recover the shine on a faded rug? Is it possible to add small amount of glicerine/ parafine or other? Kind regards
That will make your rug a bit sticky and will attract dirt. It will not work in my opinion. If the quality of wool is good it is unlikely that you would lose the sheen and a professional clean would revive it. I am at a disadvantage as I have not seen your rug
I have a large Tabriz Mahindesign with browns and greens and beige. Wool and silk. Made in Iran about 70 years old I think. It looks better every day. I try never to let direct sunlight hit it.
Look after it because it’s reached the age that may need some attention
I thought New Zealand wool was supposed to be high quality
New Zealand wool is high quality but not for rugs. Over years it loses it shape as you walk on it, which is why you find a lot of Pakistani rugs design becomes a bit fuzzy over the years. However, carpets withIranian handspun wool, the colour becomes deeper and the design looks better over the years

Good and informative video. What do you use for stains from redvine?
We use a mix of different things depending on what the stain is. So the stain has to be assessed before a mixture is decided on.
Nos ensine a fazer esse líquido milagroso !
It is not just making it but knowing what the stain is and what strength and combination of stuff to use for that stain. In short it’s experience
The fact that this seems like a nain rug, one of the most gorgeous pieces but very difficult to clean as the mix is wool and silk plus the lighter color of these carpets is amazing and enjoyable to watch because if you can do it on this piece I have hope for one of my carpets that has some staining I cannot seem to quite get rid of and it’s very fine and light antique Persian carpet. This was super helpful and very informative, I know maybe for people not so familiar with fine carpets may be a little confused but for someone like me that grew up with these pieces, this made a lot of sense and now I have a new method that’s natural and works!!! (I used to use woolite or spot remover depending on the color of the carpet but this is much better for protecting the condition of the carpet and the natural dyes) it makes sense if you think scientifically yogurt and sodium hypochlorite with a tiny acidic and brightening lemon juice sounds like a brilliant yet simple concoction that’s effective! I’m going to share with my parents as well hahah! Thank you kindly!
Hi there. Pleasure to watch your video. What is that liquid white solution you used? Is it effective to remove stains? Thanks
Hi. Its a liquid that we makeup ourselves of different things. The strength of which we change depending on the type of stain
Thank you for good moment market Persian carpets, old Iran
The ability to determine quality appears to be mostly about experience . without that one has t9 take the word of the seller
That is why a reputable seller should be your first stop
@@Sharafiandcohow do you know if a seller are worth his word? There is lots of greedy croocs in this trade, while hardly anything is documented and possibly verified!
@@OmmerSyssel I agree that like many specialised businesses it is not always easy to find the trusted dealer. However, these days with the help of reviews submitted and dealers undertaking to allow a no quibble return undertaking within a reasonable time gives you the chance to assess the piece properly. If none of these features exist with dealer then personally I would avoid them. It is what we offer
I like the second rug on the left. Do you know where I can get one?
Хорошее видео! Автор попытался донести суть, разницу между коврами
❤❤❤
Do you sell to the public as well? Do you have an online store?
We do sell online and have a Home Service. www.sharafiandco.com
Can you recommend a website or book to identify different types of persian or oriental rugs?
The best one is the Persian Rug by Cecil Edwards, but it's very difficult to find

Love your vids. I have some inherited authentic persian rugs brought here in 1976 ( The revolution) by my father. Can you recommend any websites that I could get more info on their value?
Hi. I am glad you enjoy our videos. You can look at reputable dealers' websites and compare your rug with what they sell. This will give you a good idea about its replacement value. Remember that condition is critical in valuation, and dealers' goods are usually in good usable condition.
Beautiful how you share the proces. Thank you!
I am glad you enjoyed it
I'm trying this tomorrow on cotton mordanted with fatakdi powder. Lovely music!
