My gosh, that microexpression when Dean said "He's different." I don't remember this episode (it's been a while) but that was enough to make me think "oh, John was nice to Dean, and that tipped him off." And then on top of that, Dean says "different" because he doesn't want to clue Sam in to exactly how much abuse John gave Dean earlier in life.

Oh this is near the end of season 1, John was a horrible farther to our favourite brothers, but even though he was possessed by the yellow eyed demon that killed their mother and turned their lives into this hell, Dean couldn't bring himself to shoot him, which was a mistake

Having him as his dad is a chef’s kiss because I literally said he looks like he could be his son, and it’s funny that they both play in The Boys.
