Mike and Cheryl Wells, I grew up in LeMars, Iowa. My question is did you guys think of having Wells Blue Bunny be a employee Owned company? Verses selling? This way the company would for sure stay in Lemars. The people of Wells Blue Bunny have dedicated to the company some for 2 to 3 generations. Verses now the new owners who are not even in the state could eventually sell or move a huge part of the plant somewhere else. oOher family companies in the past sell out only a few years down the road move much of the business somewhere else. When growing up my family lived across the street from Roy Wells for a while and became friends. Roy was always nice and friendly. Mike listening to this podcast , you kinda remind me of him. Not sure if you are one of his grandkids or son?

I loved this interview. They are so in love, and honest about the hard times. 125 loaves isn’t enough when you need 150.
Also God as your business partner? Very cool.
I met Michael around the same time that I was trying to build my own private equity business. From the day I met him, I was struck by two things: his competency, and his Christian faith and values. It's been a joy to be a fan cheering him on
Michael and Jean have a great story. Happy to hear that you enjoyed the episode!
Thanks guys. Wonderful insights. Many times money changes are subtle (especially when they happen for the better): in my opinion, after you've saved for several years (and have no debt) you start living every day. That's what I've noticed. And let me tell you, people notice it too. All the best from a fan. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fantastic episode. I'm a big fan of George. Somewhat of a "hot take" that got mentioned was about longevity at a job. Despite the general trend of job hopping these days, I am a millennial that still thinks staying at an employer for a long time should be the goal.
We're glad you enjoyed the episode. Thanks for watching!
Nice video
hey,your channel some problem ,

Wow! What character displayed. What graciousness towards one another. I am inspired and I will share this video testimony with others! ""Honesty promotes intimacy." So many good nuggets here.
We agree! Thanks for watching (and sharing)!

Thank you, Tony! I appreciate that very much.
Very enjoyable Adam!
retirement is not age related- it's money related period.
That was a great podcast = as always. I always learn something new! Thanks so much! Mary Anderson
We're so glad you enjoyed it!
I'm really surprised that Mr. Buffet didn't specifically include the following rudimentary financial “stuff” as a means to obtaining financial success... like: (1) advocating for financial literacy as a foundation before investing, which would consist understanding classes of assets and diversification investment (albeit, it was mention). (2) emphasis on creating a financial legacy for others to emulate, i.e., parents instilling money matters for future prosperity . (3) development of individual financial perspectives that would serve in good and bad times. With all that said, I humbly acknowledge the financial achievements of Mr. Buffet and submit the aforementioned suggestions as a supplement to his principles.
Thanks for the practicality of this great presentation. The reoccurring theme that really resonated with me (and perhaps with others) was the significance of mindset in any endeavor, including financial matters.
It was an honor to get interviewed by Adam Cox. Loved the conversation.
Nice job KBK!
We loved the conversation, too!
