Hi Kurtis. We're using 5 cardioid mics in 72° arcs on a custom-built array to capitalize on the unique listening environment of a 360° circular sound source. All of our equipment and software was tailored for the marching arts; it sounds great on live wind and percussion instruments. Our mastering chain is just as specific and is a natural fit for the Ambisonic and 5.1 surround formats. Thanks for listening!
