I remember seeing this movie in the theater and leaving out...not disappointed but...confused. that's all I can say. I never got any of the toys. The Batmobile was even a let down. The Keaton Batmobile is gorgeous. This one...not so much. But one question: Why does Batman have such a big chest? IT'S HUGE! Put that chest with the giant hand and you got it. Great review! I am impressed that Spin Master managed to get the tooling. Seems interesting. Kenner was sold to Hasbro...So who owns the tooling for these?

you know what else I'd like to see integrated into the retro collection? John Wesley Shipp's Flash series and some sort of double whammy Swamp Thing series that covers the 90's cartoon and the two live action films.

I really appreciate that you described the capes as "cloth". Too many other content creators say "soft goods" like they're some kind of scholar. It looks like there isn't any Bat-Nipples on Kilmer though 😮

Interesting look at these, thanks Goji! I've seen them on shelves at the Targs and been curious, but 1995 Batman doesn't hold much nostalgia for me, plus I'm deep in the Spin Master 4 inch scale. Anything they do with Batman 89 or Reeves Superman especially will always have my attention!

For the Batman 89 - while I would love to see a rerelease of the Toy Biz/Kenner design - I wonder if it will actually be a “new” line. They did an 89 Batmobile (Flash)and a really nice 89 Batwing/Batman (Anniversary line). All in the same scale they sold for about $20.00 each. I could see them repackaging them in boxes having Kenner/Toy Biz style box art as a “Retro” line.

The Batman toys is a field of knowledge I have little to no knowledge off 😅 so it's always fun yo learn and see these new toys. Another excellent video Goji.👍

I bought repro parts to build a Mego-style Conan last year and am even making soft goods for him. That said, I'd be tempted to buy the actual thing if modern Mego rereleases the figure.

You said CARDBOARD! Yeah! Great review! I had the original Mego Spider-Man, One of my first Mego toys. I know I had Green Goblin, Batman and Robin. I had 12" versions of Superman and Spider-Man. Looking back, I have no idea what happened to them. I know I shortly fell in love with Godzilla, Giant robots and Doctor Who right after getting those. So, my taste changed, I guess.

Great video! As kids I had Lizard and my brother had SPIDER-MAN. I checked and never even saw them on the Disney website!😮 I got them through eBay for $145. Which was the cheapest I saw. I feel that Disney did not do these Megos and their fans justice! Mego was a big part of my childhood and they hold a special place for me!I pray that I can get the rest of the collection easier!😅

I am very happy to own this set because the first time i preordered it was cancelled but I was very lucky I was able to order again after I did a little bit later it sold out for the fourth and final time and the Disney store online took it down off of their website and it has not been put back up sense and I think they really underestimated this mego set not thinking it would sell and look what happened it sold out quick which was no surprise. Mine was 73.05 total and I did use the 25 percent off code so that did help alot and hopefully they will be better prepared when the next set comes out and it would be cool if they have Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor in the next set or whoever they have I am looking forward to the next set when it’s released.

Aren't all that many new movies I really care about anymore. For toys the thing I'm most pumped for is to finally get the Necronominus wave of Mythic Legions.

I just found Rexobot in a little supermarket here in my hometown (Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico), it has the all the electronics, and the voice is in spanish! Here it cost 375 Mexican Pesos (around USD18) but still a good price for such a big figure with light and sounds 😎👍🏽

2025 will be a different focus for me. Looking forward to a few board game releases for Mass Effect and also accessing the MOTU battlegrounds game from Europe when it is on sale. Darkhorse Witcher volume 9. And the possible Nintendo Switch 2, I am hoping Nintendo hits it big with its first-party releases with new Mario Kart, StarFox, Kirby, and F-Zero among others.

The Fatal Fluffies appeared in the GI Joe Miniseries "The Pyramid of Darkness." It was a good series but not on the level of the first 2. Great video! I'll have to look for that Mazinga toy. I had the original in the 70's. So it would be neat to get a new version of the toy that started my love of giant robots!
