I am so impressed that you are able to get most of your work done during work hours and can take your lunch! I am an NP as well (in GI) and can't imagine not working through lunch or not charting at 9pm. Would love to know your tips! How many patients per day do you see?

I’m fairly certain that this is Tampa. What is that restaurant?

I have a chronic condition and was not diagnosed for 7 years by doctors. The only person who said what it possibly was was my NP. She was right. I loved her care and professionalism throughout my whole pregnancy and preffered to see her over the doctors.

I can only imagine going back to the office after 4 days off would be anxiety inducing. I also believe that anxiety includes a heightened sensitivity and heightened sense of wanting to do the very best possible to your patients. It’s tough, I would imagine, too tho.

I wanting to start nursing school next semester but I’m so nervous, I have GAD also. I’ve been a CNA for two years but there’s just so many things about being a nurse that make me feel like I won’t succeed and can’t handle the responsibility. Do you have any advice?

I feel this. I also have GAD and I'm a preK teacher who struggles on Mondays. Much more so after long weekends. After 3/4 days off, i start thinking maybe i should quit my job. Then i get through my first day back and remember, "Oh yeah, i actually love my job." Anxiety is the worst.

Same. The anxiety of having all these people rely on me for their healthcare decisions. It’s a lot on our shoulders.
