Diving in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt in 4K. Phenomenal Red Sea Diving with Emperor Divers.
Join me for an underwater adventure in 4K video. I spent one week with Emperor Divers exploring these amazing Red Sea dive sites and meeting turtles, sharkes, octopi, rays, eels and much much more!
Sharm-el-Sheikh offers a stunning variety of dive sites with deep walls, wrecks and shallow reefs.
Situated close to the fantastic Ras Mohamed and Straits of Tiran marine parks makes Sharm-el-Sheikh (شرم الشيخ) one of the premier dive locations in the world with a phenomenal choice of immaculate coral gardens, current swept walls that drop hundreds of metres and famous, spectacular wrecks.
Filmed in 4K with the Panasonic GH5 in an Ikelite housing with 2x Weefine Solarflare video lights and the Olympus 17 mm, 60mm and Panasonic 12-35mm lenses.

Shot with the GH5 in an Ikelite case with 12-35 II and Olympus 60MM. 2x Weefine solarflar 3800 lights. Was great diving with Wonderful Dive in Marsa Alam, would highly recommend them.

Cool video! I really like the editing and well chosen music, too! I could learn from you :-) My own camera just celebrated its 10½ year annivesary....I have a Sony RX100 mark 1...no 4K, but I am still relatively happy with it (the no 4K video is my biggest issue with it). I have a friend who now works as dive guide on the Emperoro Explorer....I am planning to visit her for a 14-day Male to Gan trip...and then perhaps go over and stay on Fuvahmulah for 7-10 days afterwards.
Enjoy your time there! It's still one of my favorite places in the world to dive!
What was the boat like as am going with a non diver
The boat is amazing, but really geared towards divers. You can do some snorkeling or swimming from the smaller boat but I would advise your friend to take lots of books ;). There is 1 night where you dine on a small island but apart from that you're on the ocean non stop with no real entertainment except for what you bring. The crew is amazing and the food is great!

Thanks! We were there in early January and had 1and 1/2 day of rain as the monsoon transition period lasted a bit longer than usual, but otherwise nothing but sun, sun and more sun ;)

Thanks Sanjay! It was mostly shot on the Panasonic GH5 in a diving house, mixed with some shots from the Gopro and Paralenz. If you're just starting out you really can't go wrong with a Gopro ;).
Okay I love the video, but Bonaire has such beautiful music it would be nice to honor the island by honoring their musicians as well.
